Not two minutes of silence but I did say a prayer for all the vets and their families. I try never to miss an opportunity to thank a veteran. It took many years for me to realize the significance of what these men and women do. Whether we agree or disagree on politics and the decision to go to battle, those who put on the uniform have my sincere thanks and support. I cannot imagine signing on the dotted line to put my life at risk for a bunch of people that I don't know, and who will never know me.
It's an awesome and unselfish act .. thanks!
