Richard Harris is my fav actor, and he has played a lot of interesting roles in his career. I think 'Dumbledore' does not really represent his true talents - do you agree? What is your favorite Harris role and why?

Mine is Cromwell, I think its dead cool and brave since he was an Irishman and a nationalist to boot. I think he did a really good job, and gave me a passion for history since I was young, for which I am very grateful.

Isn't it redundant? Why is gay marriage such a bad thing anyway (please no Bible-based, moral answers... I want to know what real harm it will do to heterosexual marriage and society in general)?

Why do so many dog owners think the world is there for them and their pooches to use as a public property? I know a lot of owners pick up the droppings after their animal has defficated on a footpath or whatever, but most don't. What has really got to me lately is that my wife, who is a PE teacher at a local school, has to put up with dog owners taking their dogs for a walk across the school playing fields whilst she is trying to teach a lesson! When she has asked the dog owners to get off the field she has recieved answers such as the classic "It's ok, he won't bite", which is one of the most stupid, to "Well where else can I take him for a walk" and of course obsenities. If you buy a dog, and you don't own enough land to exercise it, don't assume all open spaces, private or public are there for you to tke your dog onto. Do owners get a perverted thrill out of knowing their dog has used a school playing field as its toilet? Even if you do collect its muck, the germs are still there.

Bear in mind, that if you indeed WERE the said character, you would have to live out all his/her events in the movie. So although you may have a favourite character in mind, you may want to reconsider if he/she goes through loads of torture or dies in the end. (Unless you like a little action or you want to die for a noble cause)
Rules are you have to pick one for each of these categories:
1. Man
2. Woman
3. Animal (Real, animated, talking, silent...)
4. Object (Obviously 'live' ones. Think Luxo Jr, Toy Story, Cars...)

The one who chooses the most interesting characters in my opinion wins! Good luck!

Looks like I am going to be single again here in a few. Just wondering what everone thought of online dating. Seems pretty conveinient since I work a lot and am away from my social circle I used have in college. Its almost like ordering the exact person you need. On the outside it seems like it might be more effective then just randomly meeting people. Thoughts?

Hello.

I am currently having serious family issues that I would like advice on. My wife and I have been married for almost a year now. I am 27 and she is 21. She grew up in a very enclosed environment at home with her parents, she was basically home schooled most of her life and has not had major social interaction with others. I have always been more of a social person, I have friends that I have known for over 10 years and are still friends to this date. We are still struggling to find that middle ground in our relationship, because it is always an arguement when I want to go and spend a few hours with my friends, a few hours meaning like 3 or 4 hours on a weekend, maybe to watch a football game or whatever. As far as I know I am a responsble father and husband and take care of things like have our finances intact. and all bills paid. I spend most of my free time with her and the baby because I avoid going out for a breather just not to have an argument. My mother recently is over to visit for a few weeks and my wife started an argument over petty stuff such as my mother and brothers holding the baby, claiming that they will make him sick (she is usually extremely worried about germs). I don't know what to do because my mother wants to spend time with her grandchild and I don't think my wife will even entertain that thought right now. I finally had enough and told her that if she is gonna act that way, she might as well move back to her parents house eight hours away and never tell my son about me because I was just fed up with all the obsessivness. I know its a terrible thing to say but I love my child so much and want to be around him, but as long as my family wants to get involved with seeing him and loving him it will always be stress for me convincing my wife to let them do that. Is almost like being asked to disown my my mother and siblings and just live in a world that is revolves aeround my family. What can I do to make things better because I know deep down she is really a nice loving person, its just that she has no social experience whatsoever be it family or friends. I want her to live a fulfilling life but she doe not understand that and prefers us to live like hermits. I don't want my son to turn out like that . What can I do to make things better?

I have been married to my husband for 5 years, but I am still in love with my ex. (whom I have my first child with). My ex and I broke up because I cheated on him with my husband, but I never really stopped loving my ex . He just didn't want to be with me since I had cheated and had a child by my husband, but once he had gotten over the fact that I cheated he now wants to marry me and gain his family back. Now i'm married and sooooo confused. I NEED HELP!

You know how impolite young men can be with good looking women in the streets in some countries. Impolite would be "grabby", "whistling", "rediculous comments about body parts".

Regardless the voters' education and judgement ability, One person; One vote?

Some voters don't study what they're voting for, they just cast their votes based on the preference, not the candidate's ability.
