Regardless the voters' education and judgement ability, One person; One vote?

Some voters don't study what they're voting for, they just cast their votes based on the preference, not the candidate's ability.

Yes "One man -- One Vote" it is the way our forefathers wanted. But they create also the electoral college to decide the president that isn't prefect.

What else do you propose? That is what a democracy is, voice of the people. Every person deserves to be heard regardless of what they think. You cant draw a line and say some can vote and some cant. Isnt that reversing what we have been doing in this country for hundreds of years?

I think it was Winston Churchill who said that it is hard to imagine a worse system than democracy, until you try to imagine a better one.

One person, one vote is a good system.

But I think political lobbying of candidates by big businesses to obtain favourable political conditions should be outlawed.
