You know how impolite young men can be with good looking women in the streets in some countries. Impolite would be "grabby", "whistling", "rediculous comments about body parts".

My friend just came back from Egypt. She's cute. People would say the most perverted coments to her. And some would give her a butt slap while driving and she's walking in the streets.. does that happen in Lebanon?

You aparantly have never been to Lebanon so no-one here wants/needs to hear your answer. And BTW, a lot of people from 3rd world countries have more manners than people in the west.

marhaba(hello) i am from lebanon and im the expert in those things
lebanese teenagers and all the old people are polite and they respect themselves if a pretty girl like me walk in the streets they would just look but nobody whistles or slaps on the butt like ur saying and teenagers dont have sex ur not alllowed before u get married so things are pretty stable and great in there
trust me no such things exist in lebanon i moved to the usa like 5 months ago and im so excited coz im going back there in 7 month :D i miss it a lot coz its people i swear are between the best in the whole world
besides it has natural beauty and everybody should visit it
i swear anyone who answered negatively about this is so wrong so dont take their answer as a reference coz i know the lebanese citizens more than americans who may never have heard about lebanon

no they dont do these stupied acts
they dont do such things like most young mens do in other countries
and if the queen her self walked near them they dont say anything
because they respect themselves and lebanese guys have the good manners and houner and pride and they are well raised
they are polite, gentelmens and they have sisters so they dont do such thing to hurt other girls and imparrasing them its not how they act.
and do u think they have time for that and there country is up side down and they dont wast there time on such things
there are more important things to think about and to care about than flirting with girls
and if u travlled all over the world u will never find people like lebanese people girls and guys mens and womens old mens old womens.
and who ever say defferent thing i will say only one thing
dont talk about people u dont know
get to know who we are then come and talk

The Lebanese young men are the most romantic and polite men which you will find in the Middle East.

They'll stare or whistle or throw some comment. Sometimes they'll follow the girl and ask for the time or something silly like that. But Lebanese women are used to this so they have their ways of dealing with them (usually ignoring is the best way) . But guys on the streets are never what I would call "polite".

Don't believe much what they post here, they are as rude as any other country in the world, i don't know why a third world country with too many major problems like lebanon is any different. People are very rude there, they cut you off while driving, they bump into you and pretend they never saw you, the butt in when you are in a middle conversation, i can go on forever. So for those that are in love with lebanon, good for you, but don't come preaching lies about what a wonderful place it is, so many thousands of your people leave to go to other countries for a new life. So be true and maybe then you'll have a decent place.

guys in Lebanon have seen the most beautiful girls in the world (not like in Egypt) so don't worry Lebanese men are not barberic. They know how to be gentlemen.
I hope though that u can restrain yourself and be polite when u see a Lebanese girl walking past u.......CAN U?????

yes, lebanese young men are very polite, i like the way they express them admiration, comparing to other nationalities i meet all the time, they are one of my favourites
