We spend so much time and energy trying to prove the God we follow is the true God. We fight and argue with people who follow other religions and do not believe the same as us. If we are firm in what we believe then why do we feel the need to condem all other religions and athiests ect.... Can we just feel happy in what we believe and live and let live instead of all this needless arguing that just causes so much pain and trouble. Can we not use or faith to try and sort out some of the real problems in this world? When we have so many people suffering and all those little children dying of starvation would the energy we put into fighting each other not be better used by putting this energy into trying to do something to eradicate all this pain and suffering in the world. God is love and is it not about time for us all to reach out and help and be more caring, tolerant people? What is going wrong?

My girlfriend broke up with me for somebody else. She told me she wasn't the one for me. The guy was like 41(shes 17, and I'm 18) so I was real mad, so I met another girl. Her boyfriend had broken up with her recently as well. We had messed around a bit and I had called her and what not but as much as I tried to make conversations, she didn't seem interested. I had called her back one day and told her sorry if I disrespected her and that I would call her later. She seemed a bit happier but I became busy and couldn't talk to her for a day. When I did get to talk to her, she was on the phone and I told her to call me, but she never called back. Now after about 2 weeks I hear she has a boyfriend, and my ex girlfriend is trying hard to get back with me, and though I still care for her, I can't put myself back into it. What do you all make of my situation?

I am involved with my child's father. We are not in a relationship,but we are currently sleeping together. I also have a guy friend that I love dearly and we were sleeping together but because I'm creeping with my baby's daddy I have no desire to be with my guy friend sexually. But I love him. I was just listening to "It's a Jungle Out There" by Randy Newman.
(It's the theme to 'Monk') and I was thinking what a great song it is, regardless of how good or bad the show is.
Another theme I like is 'Who I am' by Jessica Andrews, the theme tune to 'Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye' - funnily enough, I am not a big fan of that show, but I do love the theme. anyone else got any favourite themes that they like just for the music?

I am wondering if animals haunt the restaurants where their reamins are served. Do emplyees at McDonald's ever hear mooing or see cows that are there one minute and gone the next? Do emplyees at KFC ever report being pecked or hearing chicken noises, do they ever see chickens indicating, no no no, don't do that? Do restaurants that serve bacon or ham ever see pigs or hear pigs squealing?

I quite my horrible job a few weeks back and have found that after a year with my last nasty employer I can apply for much better jobs then before. However, the application processes are so long and arduous that I think it will be a while before I start a proper job. I have been looking for temp jobs to keep me going but after spending a few weeks being treated like dirt by temp agencies for the sake of minimum wage temp jobs my confidence is starting to take a battering and I'm beginning to think I should just hold out for a permanent job and have faith something will appear befoe my money runs out? Advice????

It seems that our troops have been remarkably successful in Iraq and casualties relatively low by a historical perspective. Yet the war is often portrayed as a disaster because the enemy goes on widespread killing sprees of innocent civilians. Yet Iraqi civilians continue to rise to the occasion and sign up for the Iraqis military and police, recognizing that their freedom is worth fighting and even dieing for....yet our media never misses an opportunity at telling the story just as the terrorists would like---a disaster that we need to get out of.

Do you think the same press that gleefully reports the supposed disaster in Iraq will quickly annoint a Democrat victory in this election as a terrorist victory in Iraq (thanks to their help!)?

Ok well i've never had a relationship with a guy for more than 3 wks..they all TRIED to use me. Ive never had a girl either. Ive always daydreamed about other girls. I know im not straight, in fact I dont really like guys that much..i find most of them to be unattractive macho cheaters ( no offensive).

But I do picture myself married with kids. I do think my true love is a macho loving man. I love thought of loving a woman as well. The urge for women is stronger.
