What are potential costs for a company to expand to another country, which btw has already a website?

Should it make a new local website? change anything with production and/or distribution, payment processing?

You should consider linking a new subdomain off of your home page. This would use the same domain, but would create a new subdomain that is unique to the country that you wish to do business in. You can do this without paying for a separate domain.

You can still use much of your existing distribution and payment processing, just link those sections off of your subdomain.
