YES! Nothing wrong with a good cry... Sometimes I feel like I need it and feel better after wards... But I don't know how men will feel about it... My hubby hates to see me cry...
He always tells me, don't do that... LOL! He is funny!

Ya know...that is true. As for me though, I would have to say that a good cry includes all of the above (ie. anger, stress, frustration, pain). Come to think of it, I think I'm due for one soon. I can't think of the last time I had a good cry, no...wait I do! The last time was when me and my sister got into a fight about her stupid attitude while over the telephone. She hung up on me numerous times and that hurt my feelings b/c she wouldn't listen to me.

I must go and prepare my boyfriend so he doesn't freak out when I do decide to cry. He's really good about calming me down afterwards. Thanks for the reminder. It was a great question!

Debbie, its good to know you are taking action to get help for your son. I commend you for that because there are a lot of parents who are clueless about children having depression and doing nothing about it. I would approach him with loving arms around him. Tell him he isn't going to be alone in his depression and you will right by his side all the way. He doesn't have to be afraid and there are kids his age who get depressed too. He has a lot to live for and good things are going to happen in life for him. It's important to empathize to him as though it will happen. Let him know he must find his gifts and competing against his brother just takes away from him finding his own excellent abilities that's dormant. Assure him he will find it IF he doesn't give up on his self. He can shine by being courageous and follow through getting help for himself. That's something to feel good about and the start in being courageous in other things he can do as well. Courage is a good thing to have within.

The topic we were talking about made us both cry.
About small towns, narrow minds, keeping tabs on every body:so you cannot be who you want to be:town control.
And more like this.
Was to upsetting for the both of us.

Yeah, better than keeping it inside bottled up. Trust me, you don't want to be walking around as a ticking bomb!
