So my friend likes Mike (i think). She is always wondering and asking me about him...I talk to the dude but only every once in a while. I really do want to help her but i dont know how...the guy's cousin told me that mike was talking to a girl from another town, that it might be serious, even though they dont go out yet. My friend and the guy talk every once in a while in the halls and stuff but thats pretty much it .
How do i help her out so she'll stop bothering me with her problems.
I dont even know if the guy likes her or not but i really wan to help her!!!

Lately my cat has been acting very strange, especially w/ her eating habits. She is old and this may be a part of why she is acting like this, but: everytime I walk into the kitchen she meows like she is starving even though she gets fed THREE TIMES A DAY! And enough food too... she will, each time I feed her, gobble it up in a flsh second and then later VOMIT. This is NOT a joke even though it sounds like I am describing a bulimic human.
Is she sick? Is it just because she's getting old that she has an increasing appetite and can't keep it down because she eats it took fast?
What do you think is wrong with her?

I have a guy friend that I have known for years. I told him like 5 months ago that I liked his friend. 5 months later he tells me that he has feelings for me. I'm thinking he's doing this because I think his friend likes me too and my guy friend is feeling some type of way about this. It seems like he doesn't want me to be with his friend. So I don't know if my friend is feeling jealous, because I just view him as friend and nothing else and we never dated before.

In Yahoo! News there is an article regarding only 1 in 20 British people remembering the correct year that slavery was abolished.

My question is this: In a modern multicultural society that not only protects the rights of black people, but also every other known race, religion and sexuality, is it really a valuable thing to remind non-whites of the horrific treatment suffered by them 200 years ago?

I for one would have been more comfortable if it were a remembrance of the people that died and were abused during the years of slavery. A celebration of the end of it just seems to open fresh wounds and cause people to thing that they have done something wrong. This took place TWO HUNDRED YEARS AGO, sure we should remember, but is it something that needs to be dragged into the press and used as a perpetual reminder to black people that although they are now treated the same as any other Briton, back then they weren't?

For the record, I'm white, in case anyone wondered.

I'm just getting interested in learning how to play guitar. What would be a cheap, yet good, guitar to purchase in order to learn how to play?

This weekend I bought the following at Old Navy online:

13 shirts, 2 knitted yoga-like capris and 2 knitted yoga-like pants.

I paid $189 including taxes and shipping, so that is about $11 per piece of clothing.

I still need to buy 2 pair of jeans, 1 pair of shorts, underwear, bras and a sweater. That would probably cost me about $125. My mother-in-law said she would buy me all of that.

Do you think $189 was too much to spend on maternity clothes? I don't plan to buy anymore on my own and we are hoping to have at least 1 more child. (This is my first pregnancy)

What do you think?

I am sick of my uncomfortable bras. I always ask to be measured when I buy one because I know it's important for the right fit (and supposedly for comfort), but I can't seem to find one that I don't want to take off mid-day. I'm "busty" and have been told that I should stick with underwire for the right support. Does anyone have a favorite brand? At this point, I don't care about the cost. Thanks!

that when you're pregnant everyone around you feels the need to butt in and tell you what you can and can't do, even if they have never been pregnant themselves?

My friends who have kids actually tend to leave me alone more than the ones who don't, probably because they understand how irritating it is. The WORST is when you've got somebody who has never had kids and thinks they're an expert on it because they had a "friend who was pregnant who told them everything." I just love how these types of people tell me I'm being overly paranoid because I say I won't go tanning or sit in a hot tub, but are telling me I can't eat Chinese food because it has MSG in it.

I guess I'm just venting. Anybody else have this problem? Or perhaps a solution to it that doesn't involve smacking people?

Today's politics are too tied up with red tape, it is almost immpossible to correct it. I say we need to break down all the walls and start over. Too bad we all cannot unite to accomplish what is best for our country. Does anyone agree???

I bought a house two months ago. My home inspection turned up a few items and the seller fixed those items. In the state of North Carolina, you cannot sue a home inspector. It's even outlined in the agreement prior to the inspector going out to do the inspection.

This house, though, has been a nightmare! It's only 16 years old, but I've had a pipe burst, insulation pulled and replaced, buckled vinyl flooring replaced, wax ring on the toilet go bad, rotted out the floor, leaks from skylights in the sunroom, faulty wiring, breakers tripping, roof leaking, and this is only after two months.

What's next? This house is the money pit. I'm a single female, first time home buyer. My dad was right, though sexist, when he said I should've gotten married first. Ha!

So is there any relief or alleviation for home owners who have purchased a lemon of a house?

IS USUALLY FOUND HUNG, DANGLING READY LOOSLEY FOR INSTANT ACTION. IT BOASTS OF A CLUMP OF LITTLE HAIRY THINGS AT ONE END AND SMALL HOLE AT The OTHER. IN USE, IT IS INSERTED, ALMOST ALWAYS WILLINGLY, SOMETIMES SLOWLY, SOMETIMES QUICKLY, INTO A WARM, FLESHY, MOIST OPENING WHERE IT IS THRUST IN AND DRAWN OUT AGAIN AND AGAIN MANY TIMES IN SUCCESSION, OFTEN QUICKLY AND ACCOMPANIED BY SQUIRMING BODILY MOVEMENTS. ANYONE FOUND LISTENING IN WILL SURELY RECOGNIZE THE RHYTHMIC, PULSING SOUND, RESULTING FROM THE WELL-LUBRICATED MOVEMENTS. WHEN FINALLY WITHDRAWN, IT LEAVES BEHIND A JUICY, FROTHY, WHITE STICKY SUBSTANCE, SOME OF WHICH WILL NEED CLEANING FROM THE OUTER SURFACES OF THE OPENING AND SOME OF FROM ITS LONG GLISTENING SHAFT. AFTER EVERYTHING IS DONE AND THE FLOWING AND CLEANSING LIQUIDS HAVE CEASED EMANATING IT IS RETURNED TO ITS FREELY HANGING STATE OF REST, READY YET FOR ANOTHER BIT OF ACTION, HOPEFULLY REACHING ITS BRISTLING CLIMAX TWICE OR THREE TIMES A DAY, BUT OFTEN MUCH LESS. WHAT AM I? AS YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY GUESSED, THE ANSWER is none other than…………..Your Toothbrush!!!!! LOL
