I have a 6 Year old who is reluctant to speak. Once we go around other children she can be very quiet for along time, but when she is willing to talk she can be quite mean and bossy. She is usually in a bad mood and never happy. My home is very normal, my husband and I don't argue in front of the kids, and tend to get them involved in lots of activities and things kids like. I have one other kid who is about one year younger who is always in a happy mood, even though my 5 year old lashes out at her for no reason. Is there something wrong with my child please help.

I just went and used the restroom at work ... this woman was in there (about the third time we've been in there at same time in past month) and she viciously scrubs her hands for a whole minute before going into the stall, flushes the toilet BEFORE using it, comes out and viciously scrubs her hands again ... a bit odd? I know a woman who has let her 13 year old son sleep with her since he was born. She has remarried and her hubby sleeps elsewhere. The boy says he 'wouldn't survive' if he had to sleep somewhere else and is afraid to be alone without his mother night or day. The only place he goes without her is to school. He is also very arrogant and has a very smart mouth. What do you think the psychological damage will be to this kid and how would you go about convincing his mother she is doing more harm than good by allowing him to sleep in her bed? Serious comments only, please. I know this is a good one for smart aleck responses, but not this time! This is a serious matter in my opinion.
