I've ever eaten. Slimy, tasteless covered in tasteless cheese. Even tabasco didn't help. Do I tell the GM at our meeting later today.

Absolutely and don't be shy. But, you should pick the right time & place to tell your GM. It should be discreet so that the restaurant employees don't take out their feelings on you or worse, your food.

You owe it to yourself & your GM to let people know about the quality of the food or service @ your hotel, especially since you work there. Most GM's take that very seriously & feel it's their name that's on the product/service, so it better be the best. Even more so since it's a hotel, where people go to unwind & be treated well.

If the restaurant staff served you lousy food just because you're a fellow employee, that is inexcusable. You are entitled to just as much quality as any guest staying there, even more, since you're working hard behind the scenes. Cheers!

Heck yes! Would you want your customers eating that meal? It's called quality control. I work for the largest dinner theater company in North America and for every show that we perform, we have at least one manager eating a meal with our guests to make sure that our chicken is spot on. If you had a bad meal, tell the general manager. I've done it!
