I meet every college's requirement for transferring. I have a 3.0, you must have a 2.5 to change schools. I am applying to difficult schools like The College of NJ, UNC-Chapel Hill...what are my chances of getting into these schools? Just by meeting all their requirements, can I get into the schools? I am trying to keep my GPA up and get into Phi Theta Kappa.

My daughter recently turned 4 and constantly asks questions that she knows the answer to, or asks the same question several times over the span of a few days. For instance, if I say a word or phrase while talking to her she might ask me what it means, so I tell her. The next day she might ask me again if she hears the same word mentioned again. When I get tired of answering the same questions and I respond with "I don't know", she will proceed to tell me what the word means. She did the same thing when she was around 3, asking for instance "What color is this?" even though she knew her colors very well. She is an extremely bright child, but this just seems a bit odd to me, and I was wondering if anyone else's kids do this?

thank you all for your answers about my puppy. you were very helpful and i will pass this info along. thankfully i bought him from someone, not a pet store. i dont even think they got the breed correct. it says cocker spaniel but people who own a cocker told me he looks more like an english springer spaniel. thanks again!

I have read that there is an 8th chakra in the human body - the thymus chakra, located in the upper chest and coloured turquoise - but that it is DORMANT in most people.

What I'd like to know is, what does this chakra do, and who are the types of people in which it is ACTIVE?

Also, let's say a girl gets pregnant with the left ovary for an example and the whole placenta + fetus begins to grow. What happens to the right ovary in the meantime? I've been curious for a while. Thanks in advance.

I'm making a huge barbie house for my daughter for christmas and I have furnished it so far with everything other than a bathroom. I made everything myself, but when it comes to making a toilet I am stuck! Any suggestions on what to use or how to put it together? I'm pretty crafty but this is something that has stumped me.

I see a lot of rhetoric regarding this issue. Despite the fact that our daily lives DEPEND on socialism to function.

Do you have ANY insurance? Insurance IS socialism. Everyone puts their money into the pool, and only those who need to use it (Their house burns down, car gets wrecked, etc.) do so.

National Health cre system. America is the ONLY industrialized nation that doesn't have a viable healthcare system. That is why we rank in the LOW 30s. We are no where near the top in even Infant Mortality. republicans don't want you to abort the baby, but they don't care if it is born alive and healthy? Damn, what hypocracy!

Democrats don't want to destroy Capitalism, it does that all by itself without social programs to ensure it continues to function. Capitalism concentrates ALL the wealth into the hands of a few. In order to preserve Capitalism, you HAVE to redistribute SOME of the money back to the bottom. If no one has money at the bottom, no one will buy anything!
