The Bible does not refer to any specific names. In Luke they are referred to as criminals. In Mark they are referred to as robbers. Although they were suspected to be involded with Barabbas in the rebellion, (Mark 15:7) because robbery itself was not a capitol offense under Roman law.

does it even say they were both thieves? they died with someone who wasn't even accused for theft.
