We are adopting a dog from a shelter. She's about 1 year old and she was brought to the shelter by the police who found her. Therefore, we do not know her name. Since we have to give her a new name, how hard is it to get her used to being called something new? Any ideas on the best way to achieve this? We have another dog (same breed) - will this make it easier for her to learn her new name?

I would appreciate whatever advice you all can give me.

I live in apartments and these people moved down stairs from us and they brought roaches with them. Since we leave in apartments getting it sprayed is not working they just move to another apartment and then come back when the poison is gone. Since i have been using yahoo for questions I have gotten alot of good advice from yall. I really need you this time though. HELP BEFORE THEY DESTROY MY HOME!!

Well at first i had no job and no money and all my friends wanted me to go places with them so i use to ask my mom for money now that I got a job and money when i ask people to go places they always broke and ask me to pay thier way. and when u do stuff in school i always be the one buying the materials and then when i say i dont have money to spend like that they get mad and call me cheap. Met someone with a few problems.. Helped him out and been helping him out for a little over a month. We have gotten into a few arguements. When He knows I am mad he gets all sappy and going all "I need you, love you, want you, miss you" then when I forgive him he gets all no that is ok you can go if you want.. Then when I tell him fine he gets all mad and the whole thing starts again.. My question is why is he playing this stupid little game?
