We are trying to pay back a check that didn’t clear our bank due to financial difficulties. My husband is in the army and deployed and we had some problems financially. It is not right that anyone could get your phone number. My concern is that this check writing collection agency somehow got our non published phone number and cell phone number and I have no idea how they could retrieve this information since they never had it the first place. This is a new number. I feel that confidentiality has been broken and I just would like to know how they go about getting our cell phone numbers and home number when they never had it to begin with. How do they do this and what should I do? Please help.

We are running on Windows 98 and the computer program requested that we change our display setting to 800x600 or better. We went into settings, control panel and display and thought we found the place to change them. However, once we tried to make the changes and hit apply, it kept bouncing back to the original setting of 16 color along with lowest pixel setting and would not shut down properly. We think that something is not matching up. Please help. You may be able to see that everything is fuzzy and jumping.

I would have to go with Green Bay. They certainly are not a strong team by any means but I feel that they have more momentum that the Bills right now. Favre has done somewhat well this season, and Green is back. So I guess anything is possible against the Bills.

If you read my other question about the Senior well this adds on to it ok. So finially I got the guts to ask her for help but she didn't sound so happy about it. But every time I go their she is always siting their waiting for me to ask her for help. Also she is uselly so nice to me. But do you think I took to long to finially ask her for help. Because all the Sr that have someone to help they are like friends almost. So do you think she just haveing some bad days or did I wait to long to ask for help. Also I still get nerves around her or even if I know I have that class next. I don't know what I am saying really I just need help in Algebra and how to get help from this Senior that sopost to help me. Also what can I do about my nervesnesss around her. I mean all the Archies, Alfies, Freddies, Charlies, Tommies, Mikeys etc

As opposed to Archibald, Alfred, Frederick, Charles, Thomas, Michael.

I can totally understand naming your child Thomas or Frederick and calling him "Tommy" or "Freddie" for short but to give it as his given name?

Is it just a new trend or something? Or do people really not know that these names are actually only nicknames or shortened forms of names

I just think that the baby won't be a baby forever and it sounds so much better to have a 50 year old Managing Director called Thomas, Charles or James than Tommie Charlie or Jamie!!!!

We've chosen Arthur for our baby (long story but linked with Celtic mythology - King Arthur etc as he will be half Welsh half English) but all the trendies and chavs we know are appalled and say we should name him Archie or Artie instead (we won't be - Artie would only be a nickname for him). I just don't get this trend. Can someone explain it to me

im not sure what i do now..im in HS and there is this really hot girl. and she liked me for a little while, maybe a week. and then i REALLY wanted to ask her out during that week. but i just felt like when i did it i had to be creative and i had to do it PERFECTLY. i wanted it to last and not die in a week, like normal relationships. so i held off and held off.
