I am trying the above to get my facorites and home icon back

There are so many things wrong with IE7 you probably won't get it back. Try un-installing IE7 altogether and then re-installing it if you really want to mess up your PC! Most Internet companies have advised their clients not to install IE7 yet as it is not ready for generalised use.

Favorites is Ctrl + Shift + I
History is Ctrl + Shift + H
Feed is Ctrl + Shift + J
Your missing toolbar/icons may be hidden to the right on the tool bar. Look for a vertical line of about 6 dots way over to the right and place your cursor on it. When it changes to the double headed arrow, drag those dots to the left and hopefully your icons should reappear.

Mmm scrumptious.. I even have some interior the refrigerator for later <3 I additionally love milyways, Reece's, and one hundred grand mouth watering!! Oh and a hand-crafted candy milkshake... I make some each and every now and then, no remember if it incredibly is with rolos, mily approaches, snickers.. So yummy haha

My Computer Consultant advised me not to install IE7 - I guess nfor good reason.
