When it comes to make up, less is better. As far as your facial shape is concerned , u should be more worried about the proper hairstyle for your facial shape.

I have kind of an apple face, too. The most important thing for me is to sculpt my cheeks, so that my face doesn't look so round and wide. I use a pretty pink blush, and I use a fair bit, so that my face has some shape (brush it from the apple of your cheek into a curve just above you ear). Because my blush on the heavier side, I keep the rest simple. I put on some shimmery eye shadow and mascara (to draw attention to me eyes, which are my best feature). I rarely wear lipstick, just gloss or balm. You will find that this blush trick works...it will make your face look narrower.

I have a round face too, and I find that emphasizing the eyes helps to draw attention away from my chubby cheeks! Smoky dark brown eyeliner and mascara looks great on everyone. Also make sure your eyebrows are really well groomed and maybe fill them in a little since you want your eyes to really stand out. Use nude or light pink lipgloss so that you don't look overdone.
Go to Sephora and have them help you find blush or bronzer that goes with your skin tone and ask for help with contouring it to bring out your cheekbones. This helps to add angles to your face and makes it look slimmer.
Remember to keep your hair long, below your shoulders, so that you create a longer line against your face and neck. Having long layers helps because you can create more volume in your hair on top of your head, and reduces the bulk on the sides that can make your face look wider. Good Luck!!

The shape of your face has nothing to do with what KIND of makeup you use. Now for styles, a little bit. Like how you apply your blush & how far out your eyshadow goes. But it still dosn't matter that much. Its more about how your fetures are set. The face shape only really matters for haircuts & eyeglasses. Where what you like & what looks cute on you!!!

the shape of your face has nothing to do with makeup.
skin tone is what matters.
You should read Seventeen magazine-they have a lot about makeup/skintones.
