Why do people believe in horoscopes? What make them read this sort of "magic" things that will probably tell them the future?
Is it only their couriosity?Or maybe they replace religion with them?
To any Catholics: do you take seriously magic, horoscopes, tarot, etc.?
What is your opinion? Should we believe 'them'?Or should it be abandoned?

I have just had a new kitchen installed with a dual fuel range cooker and the firm that have installed it have removed my old isolation switch for the old cooker and have not installed a new one. (My cooker was moved accross the room). Can anyone tell me if you are required by law to have an isolation switch?

For example -
Is it correct to say "an hotel"; "an hospital"; "an historical event"; "an hat"???
I thought this was wrong but, as a self professed pedant (!), am in two minds and would like to know the correct usage of "an" in these cases. Isn't the english language confusing!!

DH washed some clothes with a pen in the pocket. I thought the ink stains in the dryer were dried up but when I put another load in, the ink bled all over them too. I need to know how to get the ink out of the clothes and especially out of the dryer so it doesn't keep ruining clothes! (When I left the house this morning I put the clothes back in the washer to soak with Tide and Borax and turned the dryer on (empty) for as long and hot as it will go.)

I need to restore the last 24 hours of internet activity on my computer and I cant figure out how. I use aol as my ISP and the "browsing history" is gone. How can I restore it? It’s been over a year since my Ex and me split, thank god.
So this weekend he send me and several of the girls he cheated on me with an e-mail saying he’s married and has a child on the way. This is the guy who cheated on me and got a girl pregnant in another state and after I found out and broke up he sent the girl here. So not only did he cheat on me several time, he now has another child on the way. Why the hell did he think he would get me upset by emailing me and some of the girls he cheated on me with. IS he stupid or what? Keep in mind I had called the police on him and he was told not to contact me.

My question is why would he be stupid enough to e-mail his Ex and some girls he f****ed around with in the same e-mail?
I’m not sure if he is making it up, I could careless to be honest, I think he came across my myspace account that shows pictures of me and my boyfriend Tom. Why do men do stupid things like this? Did he honestly think he could hurt me more?

Funny, many Christians in my last post (about if it is safer believing in No god than a false God)..seem to think it does. That means that all babies burn in hell when they die. Hi.. I have a very irregular period, I haven't had my period since July, however, I noticed on 10/05/06 I was ovulating (I get really bad cramps and this is what the gyn told me). I had unprotected sex on 10/06/06, and since then have been very bloated, light cramping (very gassy), and eating a lot. I have not noticed any changes in my breast as far as color or soreness. I took a pregnancy test on 10/25/06 and it was negative, so I have been dismissing the thought of being pregnant. Is there still a slight chance that I could be? and other than the general symptoms I have read about online is there anything else that could be a clue that I am? Thanks
