I need to restore the last 24 hours of internet activity on my computer and I cant figure out how. I use aol as my ISP and the "browsing history" is gone. How can I restore it? (I am also on a PC) Is there a way to review the history through the internet options in Internet Explorer. Please get back to me asap, I need to find some lost information. Thanks!

you cant really restore the history unless you use internet explore maybe that could work and see all your history. Or you could have your system restore and restore to the last point of your shutdown by clicking start>All Program > accessories > system tools > Restore system. That only works for Xp.

You can view browsing history in IE through teh toolbar button or by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+H (all together). However, the defualt for maintaining history in IE is 20 days. I am unsure if this works as first in first out or if the entire folder is flushed when this limit is reached. You can use the help menu to read the details. I do not know of a way to recover browsing history. Check the contents of C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files. This is where cached Internet files would be stored.

I'm sorry but if isn't there in the AOL browser then its gone.

As for the Internet Explorer question yes if you used it to view the stie. But if you didnt then now it would only be in the AOL broswer.
