I cant play tommrow because I have my period and I cant run with my period!!?? My stomach will hurt and cramp. Help!

It's okay to be active when you have your period. I don't recommend lifting heavy weights, but playing sports or some light exercise may do you some good. If cramps bother you, take an Advil an hour before your game or activity WITH FOOD (never take it with an empty stomach). However, if you're really not physically up to it, skip the game. It's better to miss it than be in agony.

okay, this is what i live by.. take midol or pamprin..midol works best for me.... about an hour before your game. also, it helps to drink water just as hot as you can stand it when you are having cramps. it soothes the cramps a lot! also, i don't know if you've heard this, but they say activity helps ease the pain as well. if you are laying around with cramps, it's gonna keep hurting. but if you make yourself get up and run and be active, they shoudl go away! good luck!
