Hi.. I have a very irregular period, I haven't had my period since July, however, I noticed on 10/05/06 I was ovulating (I get really bad cramps and this is what the gyn told me). I had unprotected sex on 10/06/06, and since then have been very bloated, light cramping (very gassy), and eating a lot. I have not noticed any changes in my breast as far as color or soreness. I took a pregnancy test on 10/25/06 and it was negative, so I have been dismissing the thought of being pregnant. Is there still a slight chance that I could be? and other than the general symptoms I have read about online is there anything else that could be a clue that I am? Thanks

You should go to your doctors and get a urine test done that is more accurate than a pregnancy test. I have three kids and I took a home test and it showed negative as well,so go to your doctors and be certain on it. The other symptoms are nausea, fatigue and cravings. It is still early to tell wheather you are or not but give your self until the first weekend of the new month and check again. Good luck and I wish you all the best regardless of the results.

Pregnancy tests can detect a pregnancy with great accuracy after two weeks, and even more so after 20 days.
They test for hCG -human chorion gonadotrophine- a hormone which prepares the uterus for the nesting of the future fetus, and which is produced already about 24h after insemination.
However, there is no 100% guarantee, as the test may have failed or you may not have applied it correctly. You will only be sure when you get your next period. That's the disadvantage of unprotected sex. Do use protection. It's worth it.

I learn Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way. It even comprises the physical activities you have to train. I additionally learn The Brewer Medical Diet for Normal and High-Risk Pregnancy. I adopted the Brewer vitamin while I was once pregnant. I used the Bradley process with all 4 of my births. I additionally learn Husband Coached Childbirth, however that guide does no longer include what you have to train to get in a position for beginning.

There is a chance you still are. One symptom can be sensitivity to smell. I could not take the smell of chicken early on in my pregnancy! Also, foods might taste "different".

it is probably too early for a test to show a posative, even if you are. Take another test in a week and first thing in the morning when the hormones are concentrated

it is too early to tell, you have to wait a week at least. You should go to your gyn...no period since july is a long time.

do you feel sick? are the foods you use to eat just don't taste good anymore? do you crave for foods? do you cook food that you crave and after you've cooked them, you dont' want to eat them anymore? do you crave for something but don't know what exactly it is you want so you keep on eating until you figure it out?
