It is a sad and unfortunate thing to ponder the thought that any life - no matter how well lived by human standards - can never be truly holy in the eyes of God without the justification that is offered in Christ. However, don't be dismayed about children themselves. Among further study, there are many good arguments about some, if not all, infants who die without Christ going to heaven.
At the same time, we can't condemn God for what He hasn't done. Sin entered the world because He allowed us to have our free will, not because He forced us to sin. Innocence was the original state of man, and we fell from that - Adam and Eve are not the only people who would have made the error of disobedience. However, if you check out the book of Revelation, the Bible states that there are people from EVERY tribe and tongue gathered around the throne. I don't believe that this is a hyperbole to not be taken literally. God may provide separate special revelation to those who diligently seek after the general revelation that He has already given (i.e. nature itself)
However, to those of us who have been given a choice, it is absolutely necessary that we utilize the special revelation already given to us (i.e. the Bible, and the life of Christ). Jesus said that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that it is impossible to go to heaven aside from Him. The answer is already given - all men are required to have Christ as Lord if they are to enter Heaven because men cannot live up to the holy and just standard of God.
People who never hear about Christ are destined for Hell, but it isn't because God doesn't want them in Heaven. It is because God can't make exceptions for sinful people to enter heaven. The Bible says that He doesn't will that any should spent eternity separated from Him. That's why Jesus came in the first place. Don't paint God as militant and hateful - think of Him more as a really big judge; He is forced to make a ruling based on the Law that none can enter Heaven outside of Christ.
People fail to see that God's love is manifested in sending Christ, and it is simple to accept.

That's not the teaching of the Eastern Orthodox Church and nothing like that is said in the Bible, to my knowledge. The Catholic Church does hold some ideas of Original Sin which I find distressing (that children are born with a measure of sin) and I've never liked the concept of election (that certain people are pre-ordained to go to Hell and others to Heaven). However, in Orthodoxy it is believed that babies are born with the potential to commit sin, but if they die before baptism they are believed to have returned to God, not condemned to Hell. Actually, until the child receives his or her first confession, it is believed that the child will go to Heaven.
I'm not sure why you're looking for massive reactions about this. It's a simple question of theology.

Funny, not. The bible states that we all know God, and that creation testifies to His being. However being saved from hell is to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Babies and small children cannot make a conscious choice for Christ, nor those adults who suffer from brain/mental problems that render them incapable from making conscious choices. For those who live in the far off regions, who are capable of making a choice, God is fair, and I have no doubt that if Christians will not evangelize to them God will send angels. We will all be given a chance is some shape or form to know the truth and act on it.

Actually, what happens is that we're all put on a conveyor belt and the first machine determines if there's a belief in jesus or not. The ones that don't are routed to the next one that determines 'heard of jesus' or not. If they haven't heard of him, they're sent to the processing plant. There, they play with Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster while waiting for the ship to leave to the planet, Kraastga. When they arrive at Kraastga, they are taught 2 things: Jesus and badminton. And they can only leave once they both believe in Jesus and can beat St. Peter in badminton. Many spend a long time there because of the badminton part but it's ok; they eventually go to Jesus in the end.

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
For God does not show favoritism. All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)
This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

Boy was that an ignorant statement. Their is an age of accountability. The age when you understand sin and become responsible for your own. Babies will go to Heaven. Ones who have never heard of God will not be held accountable. Why are you asking questions you have not researched. This is so stupid!!!!

God is a fair God and He does not want to see any of His children perish.
Those who die without the opportunity of being introduced to Christ will be introduced and have the opportunity to accept or reject him in the Millennium. It's a thousand year reign of teaching by Christ and the elect. Satan will be bound.

In answer to your q: no. It doesn't, neither do most Church teachings. (The orthodox (Christian) church doesn't think that anyway). People that think that they have the right or the power to condemn other people to hell are foolish. Do not listen to them. There are people w/o sense in every religion or non-religion.
And please, could you be a wee bit more polite next time in the 'additional info' of your q? thanks love.
