I have taken a Home Loan for an under construction property and have been paying EMI with interest and principal payments since April 2006. Since i am yet to take possession of the House, can i claim the tax benefit on the interest and principal components in this Financial Year?

My birthday was a couple days ago and I really thought he'd propose that day. I had told him that by my 31st bday (the other day), that he needs to have decided (and proposed) if he wants me. He didnt' propose and in fact fell asleep at 9pm on my birthday :( Besides being sad that I was alone on my birthday, I also am still not engaged. I'm 31 he's 28. He's cheated on me before (4 yrs ago). With that info, should I walk?

is smoking considered haram? i know many who will say smoking cigarettes is haram and then spend their weekends smoking hookah (shishah, nargeelah). both are tobacco.... how could one be haram and the other not? if you can, please support your answer with quran, hadith, or quotes from scholars. peace and blessings to all

Ok guys...say you had a myspace or e-mail address and your girlfriend somehow got into it and found stuff saying baby girl to other girls and how you want to be with them, and your girlfriend did the same to you to see how you would feel but you reacted alot worse than she did and you planned to physically cheat on her but you didn't have the heart, but you still do the things you do online, but you still can't trust her now even though its been a while, because of what your girlfriend did you even though you did the same, and say she apologized to you so many times but you don't think sorry will cut it, is there something you would want her to do for a better apology or will this always eat you up inside no matter what? Is there any way you would want your girlfriend to earn your trust? Please give me good answers I need a guys perspective!

would sincerely appreciate information from any consular officer concerning this issue I am an american citizen my wife has an approved I -130 pending,, i need to return to the USA A.S.P for back surgery can't travel alone and will need after surgery care.... denied because my wife has not a big bank account,,,, and the consular officer said tha marriage papers were invalid,,,, we were married by local government official at the marriage bureau,had it translated and certified ,i provided medical documentation from the local hospital i was admitted to , doctor strongly advised to have this delicate surgery in USA, they (MDs) have limited knowlwedge concerning spinal cord stimulator that i had implanted 3 yrs ago ,,,,,,,WHAT GIVES CONSULAR OFFICIALS ...what option do i have left my upcoming surgery is scheduled for NOV 21 at the Cleveland clinic???? any way of circumventing thanks ,,,, a very pissed off American trying to do it all legit

When the U.S. Currency was backed by gold, you knew there was something there supporting our monetary system. Now that American money is not backed by gold, how do we keep things balanced? I have a new baby girl, I'm a stay at home mum and wife. I have no family here and limited friends due to not being able to go out or work. I have a question about my father. He treats me badly. He was never a good Christian role model. I know he loves me but he curses at me a lot and is verbally abusive to my mother and I. The other night, my girlfriend and I were at his house holding hands on the couch. I know this story sounds childish and stupid.. My girlfriend said something about the F- word being in the dictionary. I whispered in her ear and she playfully slapped me on the arm. I do not remember what I said, but it was not anything bad. We were just flirting with each other. My dad saw me and thought I had said the F-word to my girlfriend. My girlfriend is 19 and I am 22. He gave me a horrible dirty look and continued to glare at me for the rest of the night. I was mortified. My girlfriend was meeting my dad for the first time and she saw his looks and asked me later why he was so mad at me. When I told her, she was shocked, because I had not said anything wrong to her, my dad just thought I did.
