In an interview shortly before his death, the founder of KFC himself said the food was like "slop"... I agree.
Years ago I was a total KFC freak ! Over the years, the chicken pieces have gotten smaller and smaller. The breading thicker and thicker. Check out the difference in the size of pieces of chicken between Church's and KFC... Church's are "huge" and half the price of KFC...Church's "spicey" chicken is super...
Both of them come up short in the "sides" department. The mashed potato's suck, the gravy really sucks, KFC used to have good biscuits, but forget that. I don't like either of their french fries and the corn on the cob and stuff like that is redundant at best.
The are other chicken joints out there, like Popeye's and their not bad for a change. But like KFC, I think their a little spendy in the face of competition from Church's...
Is KFC still finger licking good ? They lost my business a long time ago. So I don't go there anymore and I couldn't tell you..

Yup! I had a buffalo snacker yesterday and that was pretty darn tasty!
We had a Church's for a minute. It opened and closed so quickly, and it was so long ago, that I can't even remember what it was like.
Popeye's chicken is good, but their sides SUCK!
I usually cook my own chicken, which is right on par with KFC, with less fat. But KFC is still good to me.

No! Years ago, I used to love KFC. Now, it is just too fatty and oily. There is hardly any chicken and it is all coated in fat.

In an effort to improve my eating habits and lower cholesterol etc. this is not a restaurant that I frequent anymore. However, the rotizerie chicken they use to sell was quite good and probably the only healthy thing on their menu. So what do they do? Stop selling it.

I can remember way back in the seventies when I was a kid It was good then but I think once col. saunders died his chicken bit the bucket

I prefer Popeye's chicken because it tastes more home made and the sides are tastier.
