My friends and family are very important to me, and having a small piece of them with me-- even if just in a photograph or letter-- is soothing.

How do you help someone with FlashBacks?
I have afriend who cannot stop talking about her tragic childhood.
She has a great business, and has done some amazing things for herself and as a young person in business ( shes only 27!),

but everytime she slows down, its like, boom, she goes into this "my parents left me, I can't trust anybody, Why did it happen, why do these things happen" kinda deal.

It doesn't help matters that she also recently went through some really tough things with an unfaithful husband.

Shes a cool person otherwise, really devoted to her Faith, and like I said, when it comes to her business, shes on Fire.

But behind closed doors, she can be a wreck.

How can I help her?

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year, and we know each other so well. He respects my wish to wait for sex until marriage, and we can talk about pretty much anything. I really do love him. But things are slowing down and starting to feel like they're always the same old thing. I constantly feel like he doesn't think i'm good enough now because i've put on a couple pounds, and he's even told me that he'd find me more attractive if I was thinner.
I met this other guy a long time ago and we get along very well and we've both developed feelings for each other. I think the main reason i've developed feelings for him is because I feel kind of ignored by my current boyfriend sometimes and the other guy makes me feel special.
So here's the point... I feel wrong for even talking to my friend when I know he has feelings for me too. Should I stop talking to my friend in order to make my relationship with my boyfriend more stable? I really don't want to leave my guy. I love him.

ok theres this strange movie i saw a while ago and i can't for the life of me remember the name of it.
it's from the 60's or 70's. there are no words, just music, kind of eery dramatic music at the beginning. it starts out with scenes of nature, long sweeping shots of forests and mountains, and then it gradually shows humanity encroaching. telephone wires and highways. then it shows swarms of people doing everyday things like working in a factory, eating, shopping, walking down the street. i think most of was in fast motion. the name started with a k. i think it sounded kind of japanese, but i don't think it was. something like kyoto... somthing. it started with a k i know for sure though.
anyone recognize it?

White girls don't like chinese boys because the chinese don't exist in any media in the USA in a positive light. The only positive chinese White American's are aware of is already dead a long time ago, and that is Bruce Lee. Any chinese on screen now days since, is acting the typical roles as dish washer and take out delivery boy. So no positive role models of chinese in america.
