ok theres this strange movie i saw a while ago and i can't for the life of me remember the name of it.
it's from the 60's or 70's. there are no words, just music, kind of eery dramatic music at the beginning. it starts out with scenes of nature, long sweeping shots of forests and mountains, and then it gradually shows humanity encroaching. telephone wires and highways. then it shows swarms of people doing everyday things like working in a factory, eating, shopping, walking down the street. i think most of was in fast motion. the name started with a k. i think it sounded kind of japanese, but i don't think it was. something like kyoto... somthing. it started with a k i know for sure though.
anyone recognize it?

Is it "Koyaanisqatsi"? Found this on IMBd.com after a search of all categories for "no dialogue"... It came out in 1982, has only a music score w/ no dialogue.

Ten points to Angel M for getting there first, it is Koyaanisqatsi, i can't think of anything else that would be like this.
Koyaanisqatsi (translated "Life Out of Balance") was made by Godfrey Reggio, he also made two similar films, which i guess you could call sequels, Powaqqatsi (translated "Life in Transformation") and Naqoyqatsi translated ("Life as War)
My brother owns all 3 on DVD, although i've only seen Kayaanisqatsi and Naqoyatsi, both are stunningly shot, and how they were made is amazing, check out the source if you want to know more.
