My computer is about 2 years old, and has been running really fine until about two days ago. Now whenever I boot up, it stays at the WINDOWS XP Screen [Loading Page] for about 5-10 minutes or so until it can change into the WELCOME SCREEN. After getting on the WELCOME SCREEN, the computer runs normally and fine. But its making me really mad having to wait for it to boot up?


Computer Info:
Windows XP Pro
Used 27.3 GB out of 179 GB



I have tried going to run and typing in the MSCONFIG thing, but that didn't help. I cleaned up the disk space and switched my Spyware Finder thing to Spyware Search & Destroy. I've found a few spywares, but I do not think that is the problem.

Please help me!!! Thank you so much, and try to be specific because I can tend to get a little slow sometimes when concerning the computer and it's hardware of whatever.

I reformated and everything seemed fine... but then i tried to connect to the wireless connection from home (have done this before and it worked) but for some reason it will connect but say something about 'limited or no connectivity' and wont let me do anything net related... i tried "repair network connection" and it says failed because it couldnt renew my IP address? what does this mean and how do i fix it?

Just wondering why people actually read, and, more to the point, BUY this crap.

Jack Chick has mad literally millions by telling lies about religions that he doesn't agree with. From saying that Pagans sacrifice humans and animals, to saying that Catholics WORSHIP mary. Anyone in either religion knows these to be patently false. Still he gets away with it, and the poor unsuspecting readers actually believe it.

When did lying about other religions become acceptable practice for Christians? Does the command about bearing false witness not apply when talking about other religions?

When did Jack Chick become the accepted authority on Salvation; I don't see the prayer he describes as the correct one in any book in the Bible? If there were a correct formula, woudn't Jesus have told his disciples?

What really gets me is that people are wasting trees to make paper for these rags that could better be used when answering nature's call.

there is a term used for the following situation but I have forgotten it. It is when a person is extremely attracted to another individual, looks into the other person's eyes and can't look away..there is a resulting feeling of the bottom dropping out of your stomach...I have heard it called a "psychic orgasm" but dont' know if thats the correct term. I guess "psychic" would make it "spiritual" for those who will grumble about me posting this here..LOL

Up everynight!! went to bed @ 10:30 up at 12am, wide awake. Been taking Zoloft 50mg since March, but taking myself off it cuz of weight gain, so I just started taking 25mg at night. Should I take it in themorning? Why did my Doctor say to take it at night? I have anxiety, the norm everyday stress. Also on 25mg Tennormin for heart flutters but been taking that since 1999. How can I sleep the night through? Don't want to take sleeping pills.

I found out that my house falls with in an area of soil contamination. The letter came from the Health Dept. and it stated that there was no threat to the municipal wells at this point but they are setting up a task force to monitor what the EPA is currently doing to protect the water source.
