We want to distribute the demo, but would like the burned copies to be copy protected if possible. Anyone know if there is any way to do this that doesn't take a computer geek to figure it out? Thanks!

Yes you can copy-protect your cds or dvds. I wish knew what burning program you use, most have the option to copy-protect. If yours does not, then go to www.downloads.com and download a free one. Even Window Media Player has CP capabilities, as well as Roxio, Sonic, most all. good luck :-)

And for the misinformed individual who says you can't possibly be good or you would have a contract. Does he thin, Nirvana sucked really bad, then got a contract, and then suddenly didn't suck no more. Any band can be an example of this. Best of Luck to you and NEVER GIVE UP/NEVER BACK DOWN :-)

I've been told that it's like patent law. and you can get a lawyer to help for less than a couple hundred bucks. well worth the money if you come up with something that could make you very rich... also, speak to someone who has been there and done that... don't let anyone steal YOUR art!!!

Dude... get over it. if you don't have a contract, then you're not good enough for people to actually care enough to copy your shite.
