i am severly depressed and i have been getting professional help but the thing is only one of my friends know how bad i am. when i was young if i acted sad i was hit by my step-dad and my mom would tell me i was weak....... i am out of that now and i live with my dad but i still hide my true sadness from everyone and its eating me up inside! i want my friends to know my real emotions but i feel like if i look weak no one will want me.
i have tried just talking to them but well one of them is a guy (a gay guy but still a guy) so he hates talking about emotions and the last 3 times i have tried he just shut down and didnt say anything and the others just dont get that i need help. i dont want to be a burden on them i just want them to know the real me

any advise?

I am trying to buy a new home theatre and I keep seeing the speaker frequency responses and don't know what that means...for the one I am looking at it says the frequency;
Satellite: 145Hz~20KHz
Subwoofer: 35Hz~140KHz
Main Set: 20Hz~20KHz
I just wanted to know if this was good and if so why or why not?

I cant stand to be around her for more that 5 minutes. It makes me sick just to look at her. She is the type that is a first class ***** and thinks that she is better than anyone.
She has little nicks for me that she does not think i know about. I want so bad to just go up to her and hit her so freaking hard that her face splits open, but that would cause major problems with the family.

I don't know exactly how to word the question. But something that I find really annoying living in the U.S. is that most Americans think all Mexicans are the same.

But Mexicans coming to the US, in the majority, are low class Mexicans with little educational background and from the rural areas.

Yet, many people seem to think all Mexicans are like that or have to be like that.

Sometimes, people are surprised that I'm Mexican... because I'm different. But that bothers me, because Mexico is just like any other country, with educated people and uneducated people. Nice people and rude people and so on.

Who would be the most to migrate? well, obviously the poorer.

Its like if all those American people like the ones from Jerry Springer migrated to lets say ... Europe. Then people at Europe might think that all Americans are like that. But that wouldn't be true.

What do you think? That happens a lot? I think so, but I'm open to answers/comments. Please be respectful.

I try SO hard, not to be so shy. I just don't understand how people can just start talking about things to anyone. I can't do it. I try to make myself not worry about others, and say whatever comes to my mind when I'm around them, I want to talk to people! But when I'm with people besides my friends absoluelty nothing comes to my mind to say. I feel like I've tried everything, I've even tried not trying and that just makes things worse. How do you just talk to random people? Like say at the register. Please help, I'm willing to take any advice!

i was able to go home for the weekend (i am at college), and i tried to get in touch with this shy girl. i am not totally sure how she feels about me (she gave me mixed signals), and i wanted to find out for sure for my own peace of mind.

well once i was home i got her number from a friend and called her house (she has no cell) and no one answered. i did that once more later on that night, and twice the next day. i was quite bummed out that we could not get together.

now im back at school, and it seems ive lost interest..i dont really care about this, i think about her less...but a part of me feels like not to give this up since i held this girl so dear to me. is there a way i can motivate myself to try to call her (its not out of fear), or should i just forget the whole situation.

afterthoughts: i just dont understand how i could one day want to see her so bad then the next feel indifferent. it could be because i didnt get to see her, but im not sure

I am wondering about school lunch programs and the alternatives to unhealthy lunch programs. I want to know some healthy altertnatives and links I can find information from. I need to know what are, lets say, the top three school lunch programs based on nutritiousness (if that is a word) and the cheap school lunch programs that schools usually use. I need some information on the school foodservice program "Sodexho" the school program my school uses. Is Sodexho a decent program, and what would be a better replacement for it.
