Don't even talk like that! I would be lost.

That's got to be the best question I've ever seen on here. How would I react? Probably with horror at first...then depression would set in....and then I'd go back to living the life that has passed me by for the last ten years while I've been stuck here glued to the computer and the internet.....watching the world go by on my computer screen.
I'd probably lose weight, meet some people, get a real job, breathe fresh air, read a book, wow....maybe someone should delete the internet!

I wouldn't really care about the entertainment value of loosing it. (although it would suck)
But imagine all the information humans would loose!!! Our family has gotten rid of all our encycolpedias and dictionarires, because we can just look online. Also, many libraries keep their books organized using the internet. And businesses profit would defienetly decline from this. Not to mention a ton of people who worked for online businesses would have no job! It's like the start of a whole new great depression!

I wouldn't have a job, and there'd be no way to cheer myself up by playing free flash games, and fantasy football :(
I wouldn't be nearly as depressed as these guys who get their jollies in online chat rooms, and porn sites. They would be SOL.
No matter who you are, you'd be effected as it would mess up the world-wide economy.
It would suck.
BTW, Actually, "deleting" the internet is very possible.. although the servers are highly guarded, well-secured, and well-backed up, there are 5 main servers that propogate DNS entries to the rest of the internet. If these went down the internet wouldn't work at all.

I'd probably be upset for a bit, then I'd find something productive to do and realize how happy I am that I'm not wasting my time goofing around on the computer.
Wow, after reading some of these responses to this question, I have decided: when I have kids, there will be a strict limit of how often they get to use the internet. This is just sad.

We'd have retail music stores again.
and newspapers - maybe even more than one in a city.
we'd have to spend more evenings in bars trying to find "the one."
there'd be an upswing in crime 'cause of the lack of good pr0n (ladies, you're literally *sitting* on the answer to many of life's problems - do your part).
Liberals might have to get their news from the very conservative television media (except for the daily show - thank god).
People would be more likely to have to see a clip of Bush trying to make coherent sentences and would get embarrased for their country and turn off the tv and apply for Canadian citizenship.
Everything would suck.
All the people on MySpace would kill themselves (yay!).
Same with all the AOLers (double-yay).
No Yahoo Maps! :( dammit.
No Wikipedia - double dammit crizzap.
Less nerds! (thank you Jeebus!)
More televangelists (ugh...)
Less videos of skateboarders doing faceplants into the concrete or crotchcrunches on a staircase handrail. (DAMN!)

My job totally depends on the internet, I'd probably have to do damage control to some extent.
After that business would slow to a crawl.
Bills would have to be mailed.
I'd have to write checks again, too.
I'm glad it's impossible to delete the internet!

I'd say life is going to be so much better now.
Cowardly men can get off the internet and go play with their wives.

I hate the internet , probably because i have to use the internet everyday for my job, i would not be lost at all without the internet, it makes people fat, anti-social and it ruins familys and relationships.
