Does MENSA still exist? And if so, is there any advantage that comes from joining it, once you've been tested and found to have a sufficient IQ?
Is it something you can put on you're CV for example? Or do you just meet up with other MENSA members and discuss topics?

I was thinking of making some extra cash to rebuild my beautiful home here in New Orleans, something along the lines of ebay. From what I gather, you don't necessarily need any sort of license to resell things online, even in bulk. What my question is, is how would I go about filing my taxes and doing all "fun" stuff? Would the state automatically know, or would I somehow have to inform them? I just don't want to goto jail for tax evasion ;)

I have a peculiar central heating problem. Ever since turning up the thermostat valve on my bathroom radiator, the boiler kicks in and heats it up, even if both the central heating and hot water are off at the timer switch.

Can anyone suggest a possible reason for this? Is this normal? I have never had this happen in any other place I have lived.

So the other day I was giving my boyfriend a "hand job" with scented lotion...later on I completely forgot about it and when we had intercourse it burned like fire inside of my vagina and caused some swelling and so I figured it was that scented lotion. So I took a shower and figured problem solved, although it still did burn a little. Well the next day when we had sex again it burned just as bad but did not swell, and I figured maybe all of that lotion residue still hadn't come out...but then the next day it burned again during sex and for a while after. What the heck is going on?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months and living together for 6 months. He left a couple days ago. He came over last night, we had a great talk and even made love, now this morning he tells me that he is having doubts about us. Told me that I need to change who I am or it wont work? He thinks that I am needy because I dont like to be left out, thinks that because I dont have a past interest that I have no goals. I just bought a house and the septic tank backflowed into the basement. When I had it pumped, I was informed that it had not been pumped in at least 15 years - closer to 20. I was also told that legally, the tank has to be pumped before you can close on a house.

Is this true?
Is the realstate or previous owner responsible for cost?
Are there any links that you can give to help me?

My wife and I moved to a state where we have no family or friends. We moved into a really nice neighborhood, but the majority of the people there are in thier 40s. We are both in our mid 20s with no kids. We don't drink and don't really like going to clubs (yes we are sort of lame). We have been trying to connect with people but all we get is soft commitments from people to do things that never turn out to be anything. We are sick of dealing with the non serious people. Where could we go or what could we do to get some reliable friends? I need you serious advice!
