To get a BS in Education you need 120 credit hours. If you take 5 classes for 2 semesters a year you will finish in 4 years. How long it takes to get you BS all depends on how many classes you take each year and if you come out of high school with university credits (e.g. A.P. environmental science)

Generally, it takes 2 years to get an Associate Degree. Two more years gets you a Bachelor's Degree. Another two gets you a Master's, and a full 8 years gets you your doctorate. Anything beyond that is postdoctoral.

So a Bachelor's takes 4 years under normal circumstances.

It can take four years or more to complete your BS in Education, including student teaching in your final semesters of college. Once you get your degree and become employed, you will be required to take classes to maintain your knowledge. A career in education is a life long commitment to learning and an admirable profession.

Usually 4 years if you are starting out as a freshman with no college credits at all to your name. If you take a lot of hours though say 18-21 hours like a friend of mine was doing in college last year he was going to graduate with his double major in 3 years. Just depends on how determined you are. Good luck!

takes about 4 years...usually 4 years for any BS. You will also have a chance to go to a local high school and attend a class and observe the teaching methods of the teacher. You also get certified and trained on your teaching skills. Its not too bad, especially if you plan on teaching for Grade school, Junior High, or high school. When you want to teach for college or a University, then your demands are higher, since then you have to teach at a more professional level.
