I was that I was pretty by some boy.
Now, when a guy says that .... does that mean ... gorgeous or beautiful? I mean I know their not going to say "You're gorgeous" because the common words are "cute", and pretty" and stuff like that ....

Why does our society teach us that during sex, the female is "giving up" something to the guy, when it's really the guy who's literally giving up something? Why does it have to be "special" for women and they should have to save it for someone special, even though men are encouraged to have many sex partners and not feel guilty about it?
This angers me, as I believe women should enjoy sex as much as men, and not have to feel guilty or ashamed.

For the past 2 years I've been a computer programming major, I love the work I do (on assignments), the assignments are starting to become somewhat repetitive, and I honestly feel (and have felt) like this was the type of work I feel like doing as a full blown career.

The school at where I am at seems to focus more on the teaching of different languages (quantity over quality I would guess), regardless I have already started to realize that all programming languages are very similar (and some even have the exact same syntax!). My question is since I am wanting a job in the business world (originally I wanted a job with a video game company, but I would honestly rather have job stability and a higher paycheck so I think I might do something in database management) and I am getting close to my degree (finally!) what other aspects of programming should I look into.

Some examples of what I am looking for are, UI design, API programming, User Simplicity, ect.

Well i think im scewed, about two weeks ago, I was at a party and smoked a few puffs of mj, years ago i used to smoke it a lot but past couple years i have not, however when i was at this party, someone was passing a joint around and me being drunkk & stupid, i took a few hits, i recently got called for a job interview on thursday, today was a drug test, i totally forgot about that night, and now im scared sh*tless i will fail, like i said, this was the first time i smoked it years i am very petite, and drink lots of fluids, is there any way withing 11days i could have passed? Anyone with experience, anyoune who passed a test within this amt of time, any help would be greatly appreciated, also is there anything i could say if i did not pass, i know i should have gotten something, but i honestly forgot, everyone pray for me LOL

i am 16, and since i was 14 i have been having proplems with both of my knees, and the hospital don't know why. they have done an operation to see if there is anything wrong with them, and they told me, that they were perfect, but i am still having proplems with them, i have lots of physiotherapy, and it helps sometimes, but they still keep collapsing. is there anything apart from tablets that can help me?

To make this fair, I'll give you each point of view the best I can.

Mom: Thinks Hollinger (she refuses to respect the name) is over priced for cheap clothing. She doesn't go in cause it'll make her sick. She thinks I can buy the same thing for cheaper at Target or Kohls.

Me: I think calling Hollister "Hollinger" is immature. I admit, thier t-shirts can be thin sometimes, but not nearly as bad as Target or Kohls. I own a sweater from Target, but I'd like some things from Hollister, not because it's from Hollister, but the clothes. I have had my eye on certain colors and designs that I don't usually see. Everyhting I DO own from Hollister came from my hard earned money. My mother used to refuse to take me to Aeropostale because she assumed they were overpriced store that sold cheap clothing, now she likes it and doesn't fight to shop there (Although I don't like thier clothes as much.......t-shirts are see through ALOT and pants are badly fitting. Sweaters are thin.)

My husband and I are getting pregnant in February, and I'll be checking my LH levels, taking temerature and whatnot. I'm sure I ovulate 14 days after my first day, (checking my secretions) but a cycle is considered first day bleeding through next first day, correct? Thanks.

I'm creating an animation in Flash 5. There is plenty of dialogue, so I've imported all the necessary files. However, on certain scenes, even though I've placed them exactly right on the time frame and enabled "stream" sync, when I play the .swf the sounds all occur at the wrong time. Is this a bug? How can I remedy this? Most scenes work fine.

I have been married for the past two years and we have 5 months old baby me and my husband we both love each other but my husband is not a very talkative person at all, I notice when it's time to talk about his family he tries to change the subject or pretends he is busy that time, it seems like he doesn't want to talk at all about his family why is it so?? Is there something wrong in his family? tough I don't like his family at all because they people are very rude, mean and they don't care about others feeling.
