i had previously asked 'if god is on our side then god is a joker asleep at the wheel while his children fall over'which was actually just a reference to a song
'everybody's gone to war' by nerina pallot(great video by the way)
however some of the answers made me think .People saying we are in charge of our own destiny ,we are the ones driving.
I went to a roman catholic school, and attend church almost daily, although these days churches are only for weedings and funerals and i am pretty sure of a greater being. However what about children being hurt/abused,murdered who is in charge of their destiny?Doe's god think it's ok for them to suffer?I don't want to piss the big guy off but why does he allow needless suffering all over the world by the innocents.Saw a program last night on feral children why big man, why?????

my......well, my girlfiriends friend wants to come over every..night...we dont answer the phone at home...and then the cell phones ring ....you'd hope hed get the message by not answering ... but he's always out--finding a place to hang is his modus operandi...i dont mind him eating with us playin musical instruments....great guitar player...but we're tired of his masterbaing in our bathroom.before he goes home.

at first it was funny ..cause it was loud...and boisterious and self aggrandizing...hey, we know its weird..we let him go...hes forty five

but now his wife calls all the time to see if he's here and wants to know what he's doin with other women and why he doesnt have sex with her anymore im losing the plateau\\

we've talked turkey with him too many times. should we narc him out?

why is it I now feel worse for calling a woman I am dating to see how she is feeling for the calling when she is sick question I just had out here? She said earlier today she would call to let me know and now I called five hours later to see how she is doing and I got her voice mail....should I be feeling this way and is she going to think im smothering her?

she has a very bad headache and i hoped that it goes away when she stays home in weekend but it didn't get better.
the punched her badly in head and stomech and neck...
i talked to the principal but she said she didn't get any report about it from any of kids.
it is for more than one month that they startewd attaching her physically,before that it was just calling names and...
i would bring her tomorrow to doctor but i don't know what should i do?
the school principle is such a racist ( anti -muslims ) and my daughter said that if she says something about those kids the principle put her in truble so she stays calm and even doesn't fight bach and those kids by knowing the principle ,do whatever they want.
the principle doesn't realize by putting down one kid, nothing would change.
i don't know if i should change her school or resist ?
this school is so close to my university and since i am a single mother it is so convenient but i don't want my kid became victim of my conveniece.

I'm actually not a total liberal. I'm pretty moderate on most issues, maybe a bit left of center. But there are certainly Republicans I respect and support, and there are Democrats I'd never vote for.

But I don't understand how anyone can support the Bush administration. Look at the record.

Iraq. A total mess. They lied about why we went there and now they won't admit that maybe things aren't going perfectly well. And don't give me that 9/11 garbage. Nobody honestly believes that has anything to do with why we're there.

Corruption. These guys are the most corrupt, power-grabbing, secretive, group we've ever seen. They make up laws as they go, ignore the Geneva conventions, torture prisoners, illegally wiretap, etc.

Incompetence. These guys can't do anything right. Afghanistan at least was justified. But they blew that. They are blowing it in Iraq, they are destroying the economy and our schools.

After six years in office can we stop blaming Clinton?

How bad do they need to get?

Have you ever thought about the "law of attraction" its where basically if you ask you will receive. You can be, do, or have anything you want! BUt you always have to feel good about whatever it is you want, if you constantly think about what you don't want then you will get more and more of it. But if you think positivly about what you want, even invision that you already have what it is you really want. But you have to believe in what ever it is you want, you cain't always wonder and worry about it. There is a movie or more or less a doucumentrary on the "law of attraction" it's called the Secret I advise all to watch. It goes into much more detail and better explains it more. And it ties into all religions. Like for me I'am a christain and in the book of James 1 6-8 it basically explains th e same thing. Please just tell me what you think.

This is a pretty weird problem, I think. My husband is loving and kind and a great husband, but he doesn't want sex as much as I do. I'm not ugly or fat and I do a lot to try and turn him on and we do have sex, but I initiate it. I want him to do this. It makes me feel so unsexy! I know he has been stressed at work and he used to work out more often. I know these are playing factors, but what can I do from my end? He claims nothing is wrong. Oh, and when we do have sex he comes in like three minutes. HELP ME!!!

Every year, 4 lady friends and I rent a cottage near the lake and spend 2 nights there. They are SO boring. They want to do exactly the same thing every year. Eat at the SAME restaurants, shop at the outlet mall, watch chick flicks. This year I brought two games that would hopefully inspire some conversation, but the "leader" of the group, poo-poo'ed the suggestion to play a game, saying "I'm zoning out right now" and then put on another chick flick movie. Its dull to me to just sit there and watch movies, half of them fall asleep during the movie anyway! I'm tired of having to go to Hobby Lobby! When I get home from the weekend, I tell myself - that's IT - I'm dumping this group of boring friends...but I don't have any other friends around here and I'm 51 so its not so easy to make new friends. If you were me, would you keep hanging with the boring people? Help! I feel so helpless and desperate to hang with people who are so dull.

I went to him many months ago and he did a full physical and then put me on Adipex, a water pill, and a thyroid pill. I lost about 18 pounds, but put it back on because I got lazy and wasn't working out (I am exhausted after work and it's hard to make myself go to the gym). Anyway, should I go back to him or just start taking the Xenedrine? Which is stronger? I need energy to get through my workout at 6pm, but something that won't keep me wired all night. I can't decide what to do :)
