He was left alone in the room about 5 min. after the mother and child left and the test was not done in the proper order and was left unsealed. This was a mouth swab. I might add that his family is in law enforcement.

Do you mean INTENTIONALLY? I suppose it's possible- was it a blood test, saliva test? Was he alone when he took it?

And DNA does not lie, it's true, but human errors have been made. If you think the results are wrong, do another one. It's kinda important.

Not very easily. The test is done by a doctor or medical professional, and he or she would do everything from the mouth swab/blood drawing/hair plucking to the testing to giving the results. You see cases on shows like Law & Order where someone puts a small plastic tube in their arm filled with someone else's blood, to beat a paternity test, but in real life, no, that kind of thing doesn't happen.

Any DNA test of any merit requires the mom, dad and baby to be in the room with the doctor, and the doctor does it all.

it could be possible for the people conducting the sampling or test to somehow mess up the sample. also, DNA test are based on percentages and there is no 100 percent match because it is feasible for someone to give the same DNA combinations, considering that the child would only have half of the father's genes. It is impossible for the father to botch it himself though, and it is highly unlikely that any of the other errors occured. DNA testing is pretty accurate.

No, because a paternity test is done by professionals and the alleged father would not have anything to do with the testing process other than providing his DNA.

However, I have heard of a case where the results came back, and a parent was not happy with what it said, so she fabricated the documents to list the father as someone else.

no unless he had somebody else do the swab, just went through two and the dad was the dad just like i knew. the other guy was 0% and the daddy was 99.99% that isn't much room for error, they take cell samples off the inside of the cheek and you can't fake cell samples

How? I don't think so. At least not if he took a DNA test.

not unless he uses someone elses urine. But, that's highly unlikely for someone to get away with that nowadays.
