This movie is very disturbing. A lady has little troll men living in her furnace who chant "We want you! We want you! We are waiting for you!" and eventually they carry her into the furnace. I don't remember the title. I saw it when I was a kid and have been haunted by large furnaces ever since.

Ignoring friction and air resistance, find the height H in the drawing in meters.

Now, I know this has to do with the conservation of mechanical energy. For this problem, I think it should be mg(ho) = .5m(vf)^2

Now... I'm thinking I need to use kinematics to find vf but I'm confused on which equation to use.

If this is not how to work it, the please explain it to me where I went wrong.

How do you promote activism? Majority of the young adults i know of prefer to remain ignorant in political issues, refuse to get involved, or are just politically apathetic. I assume that this is due to lack of interest, fear (oppositions of government regarded as dissidents) or the culture cultivated by the government where the youth and students should only read their schools books and focus on nothing else. This is in Malaysia.

ok....so i'm in 7th grade and i like this 9th grader.....he's really funny and most of the time he's nice....i was nice to him until he called me f*g for no reason at all....then i got mad so i called him a homo....like pretty much whenever i see him....last night i was at a football game with a couple of my friends and he was there too....whenever we walked past him i called him a homo.....then eventually he walked up to me and asked me why me and my friends call him a homo.....i feel really bad...should i feel bad??? don't tell me to grow up cause that's really annoying

Why did our rubber stamp Congress allow Bush to put an act into law that suspends habeas corpus protection ? ANYONE the president deems to be an enemy combatant ( and yes, this does include US citizens ), can be secretly arrested - and that person can dissappear forever. Why did we allow this to happen?
How do we change it back ?

I have an ikea light fitting under one of my kitchen cabinets. The low voltage bulb has gone but i can't figure how to get it out of the fitting to change it. It won't twist or push in and there's no gap between the bulb and the fitting ot prise it out. Any ideas?
