try a 2 part epoxy putty. I use Numetal by KBS Coatings on my car repairs, but found that this stuff works almost anywhere... keep some on hand for some leaks, cracks, patching, bonding, etc. around the house. a nice thing is that it comes in colors too.

The problem with the pan is that it is raised off the floor slightly so a crack will tend to keep opening no matter how much you slop on top of it. You can't get take the strain off the crack and you can't get the crack to have the gel inside its edges.
I tried with the pan in someone else's house to save them the cost of a replacement but it did not work. Until you replace it you are going to always have water leaking onto the ceiling below which encourages mold and falling plaster.

We used the repair kit about 3 years ago in a rental unit for a crack/hole and the patch is still holding. It is important that you follow directions and sand it smooth so that you don't damage your feet.
