ABC News' George Stephanopoulos asked whether the president agreed with the opinion of columnist Tom Friedman, who wrote in The New York Times today that the situation in Iraq may be equivalent to the Tet offensive in Vietnam almost 40 years ago.

"He could be right," the president said, before adding, "There's certainly a stepped-up level of violence, and we're heading into an election."

but yet they believe in miracles?
the definition of a miracle is.....
an event that appears to be neither a part nor result of any known natural law or agency and is therefore attributed to a supernatural source.
sure sounds like magic to me.
if there is no magic then there are no miracles.
or are they trying once again to have it both ways?

When we dated, he was a great and enthusiastic lover. As soon as I moved in he stopped being interested in anything more than getting his rocks off and playing footsie at night. He doesn't like extensive kissing, occassional pecks only, and has virtually no sex drive, at least not enough to last more than 5 minutes a couple times a month. I've tried to talk to him about it and improve it but it's not happening for whatever reason. I love him and want to stay with him , so please don't bother telling me to find someone else. I just crave physical touch from a guy. I miss it terribly, especially slow dancing. How do I satisfy this without cheating?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a long time (over 3 years) and things have generally been pretty good. A little while ago things got really rocky because this girl who's in our friend group started coming onto him (and when a pretty girl shows him attention he always gets a crush). Normally this is nothing. It's alright for guys to look at other girls. But this is more serious. It's seems like almost obsession sometimes. And she's just taunting him, like she does with all the boys to get attention. It's driving me crazy. I'm not sure who to be mad with. I had a talk with him about it and he said that he would try to get over her. But the other day when I pointed out that he hadn't really been doing well in that department he was pretty unapologetic. I know he's not cheating on me, at least not physically, but I hear about this girl all the time. Everyone thinks she's so great and can't see what a manipulative person she is. What should I do?

Hello. I've found there are dozens of tiny, long/thin black specks on my dog's belly, concentrated mostly to one side of his penis, but not closer than half an inch or so to it. It took an hour to remove 10-20 of them. They act like slivers (you know, if you pinch the skin and bring it to a point at the opening of the hole, then push the fingernail against the bottom moving toward the hole, a sliver will just slip right out the way it came in). But it's hard to tell. Are they little bugs burrowing into his skin? I think at least some have been there for years, but it was only tonight, when I was treating a scratch, that I noticed some were just barely beneath the dead-skin layer... so I started pinching the skin, saw that they move underneath, and removed a bunch. I put some on tissue, so maybe I can buy a magnifying glass and look at them... but there was also a bulbous fresh-pimple-like pus-filled mass which had like 4 tiny ones encircling it. I'm very concerned! Any ideas??

Hi, I'm a total right brain and this girl I am dating is a lefty. I can't remember anything but my experiences, feelings, concepts, colors, and emotions. She remembers words, words, words, and just about everything factual and she likes logical statements, I only resonate to feeling statements! She did spelling bees as a kid. I surfed and played football. She has concrete things that she says she likes and dislikes. I am open about everything and not concrete, but am decisive like her.... Our styles of communicating are different even though I think we really want to support each other. How can I become more left brained to help her and resonate with her as a right brain creative type?

Do you think that the converts into Islam have stronger beliefs and knowlege about Islam SOMETIMES rather than those who were born as muslim? Because before to convert they study and are convinced strongly.

Having problem with an intergral problem!!!?
I have the equation v(t) = 5t mph, [t is in seconds] and I have to find the total distance in miles in its accelaration. And the car accelerates from 0 to 25 mph.. I think the seconds conversion is messing with my brain.
