How to date a logical minded person when you're creative?

Hi, I'm a total right brain and this girl I am dating is a lefty. I can't remember anything but my experiences, feelings, concepts, colors, and emotions. She remembers words, words, words, and just about everything factual and she likes logical statements, I only resonate to feeling statements! She did spelling bees as a kid. I surfed and played football. She has concrete things that she says she likes and dislikes. I am open about everything and not concrete, but am decisive like her.... Our styles of communicating are different even though I think we really want to support each other. How can I become more left brained to help her and resonate with her as a right brain creative type?

You're open minded right? So just stay as you are....differences with the two of your personalities can make for a very interesting relationship. Stay open to things that she likes and don't like...and if you don't understand it ask her. So she's an academic and you're a performer...it can work. Introduce her to things that you like and ask for her to invite you to her activities.

hmmm xxsanchab...is right I'd say try to gell up in ur own ways and with time u both will want to enjoy each others works or likes b free with each others likes and dislikes don;t insult or degrade but go along with the stuff if in case u don't like anything about each other just talk it out communication is the key Dude.

It's not so important to just change ur left brain to right brain wats important is ur belief and interest in each other as individuals respect each other for who u r and wat u do.

first off thanks for ur answer on my question about dating... ok i think that yall should find some time to really talk and maybe you can watch polotics on tv with her and she'll agree to go to an art show with you... find time to do the things that u both enjoy and yall will get closer together
