1) If you want to move to Crete from mainland with no money you can be a stowaway on some of the ships going there.
2) If you do not want to be a stowaway, you can ask the crew if there is anything you can do during the trip (even dish washing) to earn your fares; if you say that in a sincere way, it's most probable that they will let you onboard, knowing you have not paid a ticket.
3) Swim (but it's very far away).
4) Ask for a temporary work at Aegean or Olympic airlines.
Moving on Crete with no money is much easier; you can always use your thumb, but don't be surprised if you find yourself travelling among a herd of sheep,

1) Work in a hotel (one that offers accommodation) for the summer
2) Go to Crete now & help people affected by the floods last week . They will put you up. They are nice people.
3) Commit a crime. They have Alikarnassos prison there. They will put you up.
My favorite option would be 1 & 2. Hope it works out for you ! Crete is a very nice place to stay!!! Good luck!

What was the idea behind this question? Rucksack,Thumb, in the old days you could do what you wanted virtually & Greece wouldn`t have been a problem,these days all are more civilised & although people will help to a point what you propose is not viable in today`s climate.No doubt if it went pearshaped you would want the Embassy to bail you out? well do the decent thing first & at least pay your way out there & have a decent reserve for back up no such thing as a free ticket these days.

i am greek becareful as the police are clamping hard on that sort ov thing now if you are there and have no where to say they will put you on the next flight to the uk its happend loads ov time try becomeing a rep

find the airfare... then get a job in a hotel etc.. and meet a girl, you should find a lovely creteaure there.. and move in with her....
