A hard news story is one that will be around for awhile, and possibly will be contiually brought up or bring about some sort of controversy.. One example would be 9/11. I need some other examples though, because we are not allowed to use 9/11. If anyone has any thoughts or examples of hard news stories, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I personally like what the guy has to say....but, sad to say, im not sure if America is ready for a black president. I mean, the baby-boomers and THEIR kids are bascially the biggest population of this country, and most of them are conservatives that grew up in the 60s

My fiance's creditors (NCO Financial, Canada) keep calling my parents house asking for him. I have told them SEVERAL times that this was the wrong number. They have my fiance's number but don't even bother trying to call it! They just keep calling my parents house. My fiance has been paying off his student loans, I am assuming that they keep calling to try to get more money.

Is there any way to get these annoying idiots to stop calling my parents house?

Skourou bay bin!

I have no idea how it is spelled but it sounds like that. Other spellings might be "scuru bai bin" or something similar. It seems to be perhaps an expletive phrase (swearing) said when angry.

Does this sound like anything Italian, Corsican or of any other language? When I Google it, the word 'scuru' comes up as Italian but I don't know what it means. Anyone know what scuru means?

It could also be a deviation of an expression and possibly in a specific dialect. Is there any chance it could be latin?

I appreciate any help on this. Thank you!

I was singing yesterday, I did alittle kareiki (sp?) and got a standing ovation on a Christina Aguilera song ( jeanie in a bottle).
Thing is I was trying to get a note out today and can barely make it.
I am aware I really need to be careful with my vocal cords. Any way I can help myself out?
thanks!!!!

i think it's gonna be a true test for our defense if we can contain vick and dunn and hold them to right around 100yrds combined then we can win it...if we let them gain 250yrds rushing it's gonna be tough to win it unless we hold 'em to 3 every time they rush down into the red zone...BUT we HAVE to generate some offense at the same time we gotta get at least 6 on every posession...

I need help convincing my parents to get em a horse. I have already considered all costs. I would be able to work off board at the stable, and they cover the costs of feed, hay, water, shavings. I would be able to pay for the yearly vet visits and teeth floating. I am certified in trimming of horse hooves, so that takes off $35 every other month. I have over $500 saved in case of an emergency, and I will always deposit into my savings when I am paid. The intial purchase price of the horse I want is $1200. And this price is a great price for this horse. He is amzingly trained and willing to please. I have bonded so much with him. I want some ideas on how to convince my parents to get him. I know they have enough money, because they have said so, but they won't tell me why I can't get a horse. My dad said to talk with my mom and go by what she says, and everything will work out. I don't get this! Please help!!
