actualy the best way to show you are for the troops but against the war is not support the troops rather it is "BRING THE TROOPS BACK HOME" you cannot be against the war and show it by displaying
support the troops, here is why,the phrase was invented by pro war people to show support for the war!!! the heart of the person wearing the phrase may be different but the phrase itself CANNOT change its meaning,it would be like being in ww2 and you fly the swastika because even though you hate the nazis you were for the german people!!! The argument that people put forward to shut up and don't critisize the yellow ribbons and support the troops symbols is either a pro-war guilt trip or a protester with NO GUTS , the people that put off this argument Piss me off more than the blatently Pro war people, at least they are squarely on one side of the fence or another!! I have a COUSIN serving in IRAQ and I say I do KNOW how they feel over there , they appreciate it when people say

Support our troops is a different phrase than support the war, our troops deserve all the moral support of all the people of this country. Even if you are against the war it does not contradict that feeling if you support our troops. The people who hold hate meetings at the funerals of our fallen troops should be executed. Looking for financial benefit from the war is ludicrous, our people are over there fighting to give the Iraqi people a chance to have a life without fear of being massacred, raped, or living in poverty. if there is a monetary benefit to be gained it will be after the war and after the country is secured .

Just because I am not getting paid to support our troops, doesn't mean I shouldn't. Why would you try to take support away from our brave men and women over there?

I am not against the war and neither are a lot of people here in the USA!

the average person with that bumper sticker should not have it on a SUV, that gets like 5 Miles per, but that's just me. and i hope that Bush and Co. really will start supporting the troops, anyone see the Jesse James show on discovery when he went to Iraq, sad that the troops have on supplies
also how about when they get home, Bush and Co. could care less about Our troops
PS i love all the troops

Just like "cut and run" and "stay the course" , it is a cliche. I do support the efforts our troops are making, but I do not support Bush OR the war or the deaths and injuries on ALL sides. For every ones sake, I just wish it was over.

finally. yet endure in strategies, they'll use something. faith is barely certainly one of the strategies. And, they'll positioned it down and %. up something else that fully contradicts it--say, Social Darwinism--whilst it suits the point. Christianity replaced into in all probability an underclass resentment ideology in the previous each little thing, yet replaced into co-opted by using the ruling training to subordinate matters with mystification. yet its use has dwindled because of the fact the Enlightenment. @Wispy, very stable to offer the wider context. You quote an surprising passage. however the interpretation is terrible. right this is a much extra effective translation: non secular suffering is on a similar time an expression of actual suffering and a protest against actual suffering. faith is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the sentiment of a heartless international, and the soul of soulless situations. it is the opium of the persons (Marx, creation to Contribution to the Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of actual).

The "troops" are our families ( moms, dad, brothers, sisters, etc) freinds, and everyday people. We don't "own anybody but we do want them to know we are here for them when they do get home. So you don't support the war big whoopie but the people they are OUR own and they deserve our support and until you have been over there you will never know what that support really means

I just think it means you support the individuals who've signed up to defend our country. they don't have the choice to pick and choose which war they go to.

They risk their lives to defend our freedom in most cases. I just think it's unfortunate they can be sent to places like Iraq for reasons like they were.

Side note...you can support the troops without supporting the war. It's about respect.

You have several things screwed up - what is "bourgeoisie?" Check your spelling. Also, check your definition. Bourgoise is NOT the Upper Class - it's middle class pretenders.
Is there a question in there? Or just your "BOURGEOISIE" opinion?
Wow - they'll let ANYONE in here...
But if you don't support our military who are keeping your stupid, ignorant butt as safe as it can be - move to France.
