iam throwing a birthday party for my son next week. i currently live with my boyfriend of 5 yrs and my other two kids. my ex husband every year for the past 5 yrs has been able to attend his child's party because i resided with my mom before. now do u think it is appriate if i invited my ex to his party this year.

My sax reeds tend to look mouldy after only being on a little while. Because I only take it out of the house once a week to my lesson I don't remove the reed in between playing it. I tend to practice every other day and play my clarinet on the non sax days. My clarinet reeds don't get mouldy. The sax mouthpiece is made of wood or at least it isn't plastic. What should I do to make sure the reeds don't get mouldy and is the mould bad for me?

So.. I've been doing some reading on what is behind this "intelligent design" over in america. It seems like the Discovery Institute is the main force behind it, and especially a Phillip E. Johnson, architect of the Wedge Strategy. Here are some quotes (web-pages to come):

"This isn't really, and never has been a debate about science. It's about religion and philosophy."

"The objective [of the Wedge Strategy] is to convince people that Darwinism is inherently atheistic, thus shifting the debate from creationism vs. evolution to the existence of God vs. the non-existence of God. From there people are introduced to 'the truth' of the Bible and then 'the question of sin' and finally 'introduced to Jesus."

So my question is, is this deception a moral thing to do? Given that there hasn't been a single peer-reviewed scientific paper published by the Institute, and given that over 99.9% of biologists (many of whom are religious) support evolution. Do the ends justify the means?
