this kid at my school wants to fight me but i don't want to. he wants to fight me due to rumors around school that i called a girl who i really really like a b*tch. now why would i do that if i like the girl im a sophmore. and she's a freshman but the kid that wants to fight me is also a sophmore what do i do iv' got 5 days until he comes back from being suspended for fighting

You need to go talk to your guidance counselor or principal. Let them know that you are being threatened.
You could also go to the girl that you supposedly called a bit ch. Talk to her about it....let her know that you didn't say that and you don't want to fight and risk getting suspended over something that you didn't say. Maybe she could talk to this guy.
If this kid is already suspended for fighting, and he is threatening to fight you when he gets back to school, you need to inform the school immediately!!! They can and should talk to that kids parents and make it very clear that if he is involved in anymore fights, he will be expelled from school for the year! You should also let your parents know what is going on. Allow the adults to get involved, they will get more results than you will by yourself! Good luck!!

You need to ask him why is he so interested in what I do? Does he like the girl? You need to establish a common ground with this dude and try to discuss this. If he wants her and you obviously don't because of your name calling...let him have her!
