oh my goodness, thats a scary thing to feel. I felt that way when i was a kid. what is your age dear? and are you an ill person? not to be nosy, but i know everyone has some sort of fear, I would think about happy things b4 i went to bed, sounds to me like you have too much time on your hands and only focusing on yourself. believe me, i am that way sometimes too, but you need to think of good times or think of what good can come of the next day.

You're admittance that you are having trouble is a good thing. I believe that you have chronic anxiety which is causing you to have insomnia a common side-effect.
Do you have asthma? Some people do not get adequate airflow while lying down. If your chest is tight and you are not getting enough oxygen to the brain, you will feel lightheaded; nauseous..so I can understand your feeling of panic when you lay down. (My husband has asthma.)
Finally, (if you are female)...could you be pregnant? The motions of laying down and getting back up (especially suddenly) can cause of wave of nausea. If you are sexually active (and female) take a pregnancy test.
Most importantly though, see your doctor! I'm not kidding about the chronic anxiety. I have it myself and I have a tendency to be more active in the evening as a result..it's normal..but if it is causing you to panic and it is interfering with your daily activities it is best to undergo an evaluation. There are several medications on the market that will help you. I pop 3 pills a day, and have an emergency supply for panic attacks. Taking medications does not mean you are crazy. Some of us are just wired differently, and yes, it can cause problems sometimes when our wires "short-circuit".
Again, see your doctor about your feelings of panic, take a pregnancy test (if you're female), and have your doc check your lungs.

this can be caused by anxiety might want to talk to your doctor they have meds now that can help. i have dealt with this most of my life i find that if i relax before tryin to climb into bed it really helps. it also helps me to write lists of thing i have to take care of for the next day so that i am not laying in bed worrying about what has to be done the next day. try to do some deep breathing to get past the vomitting. hope all is works out for ya

Sounds like you have anxiety. I have panic/anxiety and have layed in the bed many times worrying about things like that. You need to go to your Dr and tell him and get something for this. I am on Zoloft and it has helped me a lot. Good luck and don't let it go too far, it is misery to deal with when a pill can make you so much better.
