I request that if you're going to be snitty you don't answer. Constructive crit welcome but be nice please. My daughter is 16 months and throws tantrums and is willfully disobendient sometimes. My real question is how do I communicate that this is unacceptable behavior when she doesn't talk yet and is so young. She's a very bright child but I'm afraid I'm expecting too much from her. She is a wonderful child most of the time and shares and plays with others well. She only seems to disobey when it's extremely important that she listen (dangerous situations or actions etc). So I guess maybe the question is better of how do I get her to understand that some things are dangerous? I'm a little lost as she's my first. We don't give in to her tantrums and she usually stops after at most a minute. It's really the disobediance that scares me. Please give good advice. : )

The scientific journal articles I was told to read are highly technical and geared toward grad students and professors/researchers. I am an undergrad who has not taken upper-level classes yet and am finding it extremely difficult to follow the material.
I started this job 2 weeks ago and I work with a grad student. Should I express to the grad student or the professor, who is my boss, that I am having difficulty and don't know if I am ready for the material? Or should I just say that I am okay but it is challenging? What should I do? If I should say something, who should I say it to? I feel like a disappointment...

Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act.

What it basically means is that if the government wants to search your home, car, or whatever they can without a warrant and take whatever they want without question because they can say that it's to prevent terroism.

I work at a psychiatric clinic, and I'm very unclear about what that is. How could I phrase that as a question when I ask a patient about his or her oppositional behavior?

I was wondering if I'm right:
That in the bible it says adam broke off his rib to create eve.
I've always thought this to be comical, so I figured it may mean that since space speaks in mathematics (even before the creation of humans) that this mythology really means x and y chromosomes, and when you "break" off one, you get the other. Since the bible was written by man, they switched the truth around, so that really women were created as the original image of man: The female has two x chromosones, and the male x and y. When you "break" off a piece of the x , you get a y.
Could this be right?
(Please, no narrow-minded bible thumpers answeres, please)

Doesn't the scripture say to pray without ceasing? That would include while you're in the nude.

Laying in bed shouting "Oh God!, Oh God!" doesn't really count.
