I was wondering if I'm right:
That in the bible it says adam broke off his rib to create eve.
I've always thought this to be comical, so I figured it may mean that since space speaks in mathematics (even before the creation of humans) that this mythology really means x and y chromosomes, and when you "break" off one, you get the other. Since the bible was written by man, they switched the truth around, so that really women were created as the original image of man: The female has two x chromosones, and the male x and y. When you "break" off a piece of the x , you get a y.
Could this be right?
(Please, no narrow-minded bible thumpers answeres, please)

I'll explain a little better: God, in mathematics, said "hmmmmm...I need a counterpart to enable procreation, so not only do I create XX, but if broke off a little of the X, I then get a Y and voila! a man".

i realy like your imagination on this, to see the y as a broken peice of x. but i dont think that this is where the story comes from. keep in mind to us "english" it makes sence. but the bible was originaly written in a different language, they do not have the letters x and y. and their corosponding letters for x and y do not mean male and female chromosomes. the only way it would be posable for this to be the true meaning, is if this part of the bible was only meant for the comprehention of english speaking people.

I don't know what you mean by "right", since to us non-bible thumpers the whole thing is (at best) an allegory.
But in any case, I would think you have it backwards. If man started off with 2 X chromosones one of them was broken to get a piece to use to make the woman, so female XX chromosones are entire but the male XY still contains a broken piece.
(and yes, God used Adam's rib to make Eve, Adam didn't have anything to do with it besides providing the raw material)

you have to look at when the bible was written and by who.
Then you have to look when the first chromosomes were discovered and correctly described.
But first you have to get a bit more info about the y chromosome. It is most definitely not just a x chromosome with an arm broken of, any look into a biology book will tell you that.
Sorry, your theory has even less merit than the original bible story. At least that has some cultural background to it.
You should read "the foucault pendulum" by Umberto Eco if you enjoy making up conspiracy theories though, it's a whole book about it and I think it is really good.

so your trying to say that women (double X) were created in the form of God. This is not possible in natures laws. Man was an X and a Y, so by taking a Y away you leave women Double X. If women were actually the first creation and God took their chromosomes to make man it wouldn't be possible. Our laws wouldn't allow a X and a Y (man) to be created from 2 X's (women). it would only be possible if a X and a Y (man) took away a Y which would just as God said create a female. And also Man didn't write the Bible, The Spirit and word of God did. but whether you accept it doesn't change the fact that women were created from man.

Interesting theories.
But it seems they are based on a faulty premise.
You say "That in the bible it says adam broke off his rib to create eve."
Without "thumping", yet I would suggest you check the "chapter and verse" to see whether you are starting with a correct premise or whether you are going off on a tangent.
[hint: Where in the Bible does it say anything about 'breaking off his rib"? Where in the Bible does it say that Adam did the "creating"?]

No, God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep then He took one of Adams ribs and used Adams genetic code and the dust of the earth to make Eve.
This was done so that Adam could have a wife of his own race and not breed with the other races and to keep the Hebrew bloodline pure.
If you read the biblical genealogies carefully you will find that Christ was a direct descendant of Adam and Eve,hence the title,Son of Man.

No...just...no.
No, it couldn't be right.
You know what the bible is, right? Especially the old testament?
Its a collection of the myths and legends of bronze-age tribes that lived in the middle east five thousand years ago.
There isn't a single iota of scientific truth in the entire thing. There certainly isn't anything to be had in trying to apply some sort of mind-bending metaphorical reasoning to make it fit current knowledge about the human body.
The Y chromosome is not a fragment of the X chromosome.

No.
First off, THE BIBLE IS FICTIONAL LITERATURE. It's a bunch of tips for daily living in the Middle East twenty centuries ago. It is based partly on fact, but mostly on misconception and superstition. Don't use the Bible as a basis for scientific understanding -- it's NOT scientific.
Secondly, the Y chromosome is not a chopped-down X chromosome. They are substantially different throughout their length.
