Well, one must realize that the human being is first and formost an animal...and an animal was never "meant" to be in such a structurized society where one must seek out a toilet, but could rather just squat or aim into some bush as they walked in the forest gathering nuts and berries. The real problem is civilization that nearly prohibits basic human/animal workings, such as it being illegal to piss outside...the retardation of such a simple thing is fairly astoundingly backward and inane. Just drink water steadily and don't slug it down - give it a chance to absorb and rehydrate your body. By definition, too much of ANYTHING is termed as "polution", which includes too much water. Just be logical and, when you feel thirsty, drink water, and when you don't feel thirsty, don't drink water. There's really no guidebook, and drinking so much that it goes right through you is an indication that you're already hydrated enough and you seriously don't NEED more water, so just back off of it for a bit.

One of the biggest myths out there is the one of you must drink a lot of water everyday. Of course, the water companies started that. Nothing can be further from the truth. When those 100 years folks are asked what the secret to their health is, do you ever hear them say, "I drink 40 glasses of water a day." ? Never! Drink water when your thirsty, a little more on a hot day, and a little more when your exercising. Thats enough.

Just drink as much as you able to in a day. You don't want to be drinking so much that you are having to use the bathroom all the time. You might end up over working your body. Just pace yourself.

whoaaaaa
you are NOT supposed to drink until your urine is clear
that is verrrry unhealthy
it means you are flushing all of the nutrients out of your body because there is nothing left.
if your urine is clear you are basically just peeing water after you've flushed your body. you're only supposed to do that when you're sick.

Your body gets used to it and you won't have to run so much. Also, if you are constantly sipping, it may be easier for you than downing whole glasses as a time. Try that.

I grapple with this dilemma myself. Why don't you space out your water intake. Like you could drink a bottle of water with every meal instead of your norm.

As you continue drinking water every day, your body gets used to it and you will begin to pee less.
