I have beautiful refinished wood floors on my rental house that I am thinking of covering with new carpet. Does anyone have any opinion on if this is a good idea or not? The heater is loud due to the echoing on the wood so I thought this might help and also make the bedrooms cosier. But I would do it only if I could improve the house and charge higher rent. To what extent do you think this would improve the livibility of the house/bedrooms?

in film a man is checkin why every model used in adverts is ending up dead (they get there body scaned in to a computer to be used in the advert as a sort of hologram).they then come accross a wepon that is like a flash gun that when you get flashed with it you blackout for a few mins.one scene has a car chase in which the hero gets fashed and the next thing he is parked in a park water feature.he also sneaks into the place that makes the flash guns and there is robots going room to room so thats how he gets into the room with the weapon.also there is special glases that when you wear the weapon does not affect you.

I am having a "discussion" with another fan who says that a batter is apt to have better numbers ( batting average, home runs, rbis) while playing in the Al than if he was playing in the NL. I understand that from a team standpoint the numbers are bound to be better in the AL because of the DH, but, I don't agree an individuals stats are affected by that fact. Any thoughts? Anyone know of any articles or studies on the subject?
