Its called an autobiography. Some people have "ghost writers" who write these for them though if they are not good at literature.
A biography is a story about somebody else's life written by another person.

If you are writing a true story about your own life it is called an autobiography. If you are writing a story about someone else it is called a biography.

It is an autobiography if it is written by the person whose life it is but if it is written by another person it is a biography.
