It's better to get an early Christmas card than a late one.

Yes, it's way too early to mail out the Christmas cards. It's over 2 months until Christmas. Can you write them out, put stamps on them and then hold them until say, Dec. 1st?

You may have time to include a "letter" or note to everyone as well.Maybe do 10 an evening, then, by the time December rolls around, you will be done and ready to send the greetings at an appropriate time.

I have just received a Christmas card posted a year ago. With such postal services to reckon with, it's never too early to start writing your cards. Pile them up, put the stamps on and perhaps wait a month before posting. That's what I've done!

It is indeed too early to send them, but not too early to write them. Do one a day for the next month or so and then send them around the start of December. you'll get a gold star.

You could take a few with you when you go on trips and send them from different cities, surprise you family coz they won't recognise the postage stamp!

no it's not too early. after all, sending christmas cards is more about remembering your friends and family than anything else and therefore it doesn't matter when you send them. better early or late than not at all. also sometimes getting them at an unusual time is more memorable anyway - i once got a christmas card in june and it made my day! if shops can have their decorations up in october, why shouldn't you send your cards at the same time? send them when you like, and a merry christmas to you!

Definitely too early. Don't send cards out before Thanksgiving, it's just kind of odd to receive a card with another holiday still to come before the one you're celebrating.

Too early to send, but you can fill them out and address them now while you're thinking of it. This way you can take you time. If you forget anybody right off hand, you'll have a few weeks to remember. I wouldn't mail them out until mid November or better yet, the day after Thanksgiving.

Bleedin' hell. Yes it is too early. I know what you mean about being disorganised (I'm the same). Just try to remember to do it all at once, one weekend in mid november. You could buy them now, and write a list of who you're sending them to. You could even write them, and then just not post them until mid novmeber.

It's wayyyyyy to early.

The thing you can do is write them now, and then send them out 2-3 weeks before Christmas and of course if it's out of the country, I would give it a month before.

I write my Christmas cards a year ahead.

You can make out the cards any time you have time, but You should wait till about 10 days to 2 weeks before to mail.
